#tiffanys2021sipdown Tea #148 overall / Tea #19 for April
An Ode to Tea, K is for Key Lime Chamomile from Teamancy (gifted by Tori aka @siply_tealicious)
Wednesday 04/14 — As suspected, this tea was made by me cold-brew pitcher style and not my forte only with the chamomile being the star. Perhaps I need to start trying teas hot to see if they make any difference?

Another day of not feeling well, so another day of drinking my comfort tea! The flavors are really soft and light today. I used a little less tea so the lemon is less prominent.

Flavors: Honey

Today started out rough – so I went for my favorite comforting tea. It was light, soft, the white tea taste prominent. I always find this tea has notes of honey, just from the tea leaves themselves.

Flavors: Honey, Lavender, Lemon

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 1 min, 30 sec 2 tsp 17 OZ / 500 ML

I absolutely love the smell of this tea. The grapefruit is so strong and bright.
The turmeric is also a really interesting addition, it the tea is a strong yellow, and it adds this additional depth to the black tea – without being overpowering.

Flavors: Grapefruit, Honey

This is so good! It is basically my perfect tea, a soft subtle green tea, bright raspberry, with hints of lemon, and a hint of sweetness.

My advent calendar arrived today with an added extra sample. Just a little excited that one of the many orders I placed since November is here. Super excited to check out Teamancy’s Teas since they look delightful on the website. This is the second day’s offering. The first was an Earl Grey and I am not a fan of EG so I’m saving that one for my hubs.

This blend tastes exactly like it should. The tea is coconut forward and there is a toasted note. There is also a coconut oil flavor that comes in stronger towards the end of each sip as well. That familiar green tea buttery flavor is more in the background and adds to that coconut oil finish I’m getting.

I can’t say that I love the tea but there is nothing wrong with it. Coconut just isn’t a flavor I look for in my tea so I’m more meh but if you are a coconut fan, this might be one for you. I don’t see this one on the site so I think this might be a calendar exclusive blend.

Flavors: Coconut, Green, Toasted
