Finishing my Mr. Earl May tea #2 in two forms today, cold brewed and a warm cup.

I butchered the cold brew a bit because I haven’t done a green before and it’s come out a bit too bitter. Darn that green tea! Oversteeped. Need to pay better attention to green cold brewing and remember I can’t leave them overnight (not that I did with this one, just left it for around 6hrs, should have been shorter—I actually lunged out of bed to stop this one steeping).

The hot brewed cup is very nice though. I think all the extra flavour fell to the bottom of the sachet! Got a mouth full of berries that complements the green tea and isn’t overwhelmed by it like in the cold brew.

Bye, Fairytale! You were nice and I’m sure people who like green teas will like you.

First cab off the rank for the Mr. Earl May subscription trio! This was the one I was drawn to the most out of the three because it smells divine, like strawberries (funny because I’m not actually crazy for strawbs in the great berry ranking).

This is a wonderful alternative to T2’s Strawberries & Cream, I think, or even Green Rose. Light green tea base with lovely fresh and fruity flavours that don’t overpower the green.

Ranked as I did because I’m just not that crazy about greens. I really wish I was. I’m definitely going to try this one cold brewed as well, I think it’ll be lovely! For a green.

Hahaha.
