Roundtable Tea Company

First of all, Rooibos is NOT tea. Anyway, this looks like sweepings from the floor of a flower shoppe or maybe a painter spilled some lovely colours into a bag of tobacco. In any case, this loose leaf infusion seems like it would be a clown’s favourite drink. I’ve never tried it and I never will but the colours really got my attention. :)

This tea is one of my very favorites. The black tea is full bodied and complex, while the lavender and rose give it this strongly floral bouquet. The result is exceptionally fine. I don’t usually buy the blend with peach/mango flavors, as I find that quickly pushes it into candied tea territory, and I think the black teas in this deserve better. Very nice with a little milk.

This tea can be found in a few tea places under different names but it is so good and packed full of energy, flavor and just makes you feel good for hours…:)
