I drank this tea while on a cruise in Central America. Now that I am home in Michigan, I can’t find it. Does anyone know where I can buy this brand.

LOVED this tea. Great strong lemon taste. Wish I could find a place to purchase more. I think I found the box I had at TJMax.

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea. I had some of it hot yesterday and loved it, and decided to cold brew the rest for today. It makes a stunning iced tea. So crisp and minty. YUM!

This tea is a little temperamental – it needs a slightly lower temperature (I pull it just before the boil), and only 3 minutes steep time. Any longer or hotter and the tea is bitter. But, it is worth the little extra effort because it is a pretty decent Darjeeling. It is light and crisp and delicious.

another way of controlling temp and avoiding overextraction is to use a tradional Japanese method of enjoying gyokuro, by covering the leaves in the pot/cup with just a small measure of cold water, enough to cover and allow to sit while the kettle comes to a ‘fish eye’ boil..then allow the rolling to cease and pour over the cold-pre extraction…this helps drop the temp and reducing the ‘shock of the leaves’ and with the 3 min, 6oz per 2 gram formula, should make it a fantastic darjeeling every time…I also like to use a traditional Taiwanese gawian for this method as well..yum

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea.

I am going to need to toy around with this one a bit, because I am not getting much from it but bitterness. I must have oversteeped. I don’t know. But, I will reserve my rating of it until I’ve tried it out again.

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea.
This is a very pleasant green tea – quite grassy, but it is a nice departure from what I’ve been tasting lately… not that what I’ve been tasting lately is bad… this is just different. And sometimes, different is quite refreshing and exhilarating for the palate.
Nice!

Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me this tea. And you know what, you’re right, this DOESN’T taste like a bagged Earl Grey. It just tastes excellent!

The bergamot flavor is smooth, crisp and lightly floral. Sweet but not overly so. Tangy and delicious. A great Earl Grey!

If you are into grassier and more vegetal type green teas give this one a whirl! It’s pretty good. Hearty! Especially for a pyramid-bagged tea!

Tremendously flavored green tea in a bag! A Pyramid bag, that is! This is a HIGHLY mint green tea! I like it VERY much!!! Ahhhhhh!

I meant to comment on this, and just got back to it.
Do you have a favorite Morraccan Mint?
Thanks,

TeaEqualsBliss

I remember Rishi had a very memorable one! I remember liking that one very much! Are you looking for Moroccan Mint, specifically or Mint in general!? Just curious!?

teawing

Moroccan specifically, to go with some tubouli and hummus… :)
I am taking it all in, I know coffee so much more than tea, but switched for health benefits and guess what…the taste and variety is so addicting! I am sure you can relate. I appreciate your thoughts and answers.

TeaEqualsBliss

Oh! I see!!! I, too, am a Tubouli and Hummus fan! LOVE them both!!! I would say the Rishi one would ROCK!!!! Are you a vegetarian by chance? Have you checked out the SororiTEA Sisters Blog!?

teawing

I will run down the Rishi, thanks for the info. Not a vegetarian, but trying to make healthy changes and choices. Less meat for sure. Love cultural food and drink experiences…about to check out soroiteasisters, again thanks for expanding my knowledge!

teawing

Wow, I will be catching up on soroiteasisters for a while, LOTS of good stuff there…I noticed last contest was November, another anytime soon?

A mighty fine and good old stand-by Darjeeling in a bag! Pretty tasty! Fairly simple but good!
