drank Rosehip Mixture by Meßmer

Just the sour taste of Rosehip and hibiscus. It has great health benefits though with its high vitamin C content. And it supposed to be good for the heart. I think its one you drink for the benefits rather than taste.Just depends what you are looking for.

drank Ginger lemon by Meßmer

I originally wasn’t going to buy this because sometimes I made ginger tea from just ginger. I never add lemon though. I just kept thinking how easy it would be to make from fresh ingredients. But..nothing beats the convenience of the tea. So ultimately it went in the cart. It’s OK. It has that “ginger” bite with a slight tartness from the lemon. More flavor that I expected. Nice..if you need a ginger tea. Especially for upset stomach. A nice tea to start your day with…if you like lemons to start the day

drank Sage honey vanilla by Meßmer

I had never even heard of Sage tea until I stumbled across this. Apparently Sage tea is really good for you. I figured with the addition of Honey and Vanilla it would be a good beginner tea. But somehow I forgot I am not the biggest fan of already sweetened teas. This tastes like Rosemary and Eucalyptus…just not very good to me. I also wanted to note the vanilla does not come through. I guess its redeeming quality is its probably good for you

More Mesmer Tea. For some reason I was surprised to see this in my local grocery store. But I guess I really shouldn’t have been. The store close to me always has fresh turmeric. I’m not sure what the local people use it for. But…you can’t beat the health benefits of Turmeric. This isn’t my first turmeric tea. I had one…by an organic brand that I can’t quite remember the name of and am too lazy to look up. It was rooibos vanilla turmeric I think. And surprisingly pretty good. As is this one. Ingredients:Ingredients:
Turmeric (25%), lemongrass,
rose hips, cinnamon (15%), orange leave. It’s actually pretty nice. The cinnamon isn’t too crazy and tastes like there could be a few different spices other than cinnamon. But still muted like it’s from a tea bag. I like that I can see pieces of chopped turmeric. They are small but still. It is turmeric tasting…but it’s good and mellow. Nothing compared to “golden milk” though. You just can’t beat the richness and yumminess in that with milk and fresh spices. But this is decent for when I am feeling lazy but still want the hit of turmeric.

drank Tuscan Peach by Meßmer
271 tasting notes

I was just looking back through all of my tea reviews. I have really been buying all of the Mesmer teas. And looking at the rating I don’t like most of them…yet I’m compelled to keep trying them. IDK. Anyway…today’s tea is Tuscan Peach. Peach is a classic flavor…first time I opened the bag I really loved the smell. Classic peach scent…fruit and yummy. Luckily this one didn’t disappoint. It was sweet..and tasted like hot peach juice. Much more enjoyable when you let it cool. Nice…if you like peach/peach juice…I think this is a good one to try.

Surprise, another Mesmer tea. This one is Lemon Balm, although I had No idea it was lemon balm at that time. So it has that non descript tea taste. With a hint of mint. Forgettable. But i think it is calming so there is that. Prolly not one i would buy again unless I needed lemon balm in my life

drank Fruit mixture by Meßmer

The mesmer teas never end!! Anyway… I was really intrigued by thing one. I was prepared for a fruit mixutre to know my socks off. All you get is hibiscus and the bitter berry that is hagebutten. Im too lazy to look it up. No particular sweet or fruit that stands out. And gets more bitter as it sits and cools. Not a fan.

drank 6 herb by Meßmer

Still slowly drinking through all the Mesmer teas…so I picked this one up. I can’t read German so I usually just grab and translate later. This one is highly forgettable but has hibiscus, lemongrass, peppermint and a few other things but just tastes like a slightly bitter hibiscus tea. Meh.

drank Nettle mango by Meßmer
271 tasting notes

I stopped drinking as much tea when it got hit so this one took me quite a while to finish. I’m not sure if I’ve had a mango tea before.. maybe from Lipton? Anyway, this doesn’t have any Mango flavor and I dunno what nettle tastes like. This kinda has a caramel taste to it. Strange. Interesting. But overall forgettable.

drank Pure Herbs by Meßmer
271 tasting notes

At this point I’m drinking my way through the Mesmer shelf. I had no idea what this was when I picked it up..because I can’t read German. But anyway..I just translated (now that I finished the box) and it’s just pure herbs. It doesn’t have any distinctive taste- maybe slight peppermint, a little hint of chamomile but not as strong as a mint chamomile tea because of the stuff in the background.

It has:Peppermint, lemongrass, rooibos, fennel, chamomile, blackberry leaves, lemon balm, orange leaves, lemon verbena leaves.

It has a lot of interesting things but it’s ultimately forgettable. I think all those herbs are good for you though.

Definitely not a tea I would normally buy but I’m slowly drinking my way through all of the Mesmer teas and learning the German words for a few things along the way. Yay me!! Fennel tea is a fave here, you can get Fennel tea anywhere. It’s great to use for an upset stomach and it wasn’t horrible when I first started drinking, but I quickly because tired of it. But I’m finally drinking my last cup. It tastes like licorice and fennel. Not
My favorite but if you add a ton of water it’s drinkable and because of the seriousness of the herbs I’m sure it has a multitude of benefits- helps with stomach issues for sure, probably good for blood pressure and appetite control. A serious tea that I would only recommend if you like this sort of thing

drank Spanish orange by Meßmer

Not too long ago I tried the version by Teekane. I probably spelled that wrong. This one is slightly better. Not as chalky tasting but that undertone is still present. Due to that, not my favorite. I love the concept of an orange tea tho, so I’ll never stop trying them out

drank Mint chamomile by Meßmer
271 tasting notes

I’m just trying out all of the Mesmer teas. I’m not a big fan of chamomile and mint is ok sometimes. But for some reason I thought – maybe I’ll like them together. Not particularly. I find the regular mint tea from this brand to taste kind of strange and picked up that same note in this tea. The chamomile was toned down though, not as grass tasting. It was ok. I don’t need to try it out again.

drank Elderflower lime by Meßmer
271 tasting notes

This is a very unique Tea flavor as far as tea is concerned. I thought I would give this one a try since I really enjoyed the last tea I had which was cherry and elder. Also I had never had a lime tea so my interest was piqued. Unfortunately I just wasn’t crazy about it. I could pick the lime, not sure about the elder flower. It just made for a very forgettable tea experience and didn’t particularly make me happy to drink it. Skip.

drank Elderberry Cherry by Meßmer
271 tasting notes

Another Herbal Tea. I drink so much of it these days. I’m slowly making my way through the Mesmer teas. Anyway…I found out last year that I’m a big fan of cherry tea. I thought they would be medicinal and gross but I find them really pleasant. This one included. I find it tastes/smells like the soft Cherry lifesaver. It’s unsettling how much this tea remind me of the candy. It’s literally just a liquid version. The elderberry is interesting, I know elder is good for you. I have a soap from Lush I need to use that is also elderflower infused. I’m not sure I really know enough to distinguish the taste, but I do really like this tea. Would definitely buy again, in fact, I’m 100 percent sure I will.

drank Apple-Vanilla by Meßmer

This tea smells
Amazing. It smells like apple pie. I can steep my usual two bags and it will scent my whole room. Which is nice. As for taste… it’s ok. Doesn’t taste Hal as good as it smells. But it was drinkable and not very memorable. Not something I would buy again.

I wasn’t expecting much from this mint tea. I had recently drank up the regular mint tea and wasn’t the biggest fan. I expected this one to be much the same but was surprised. You can’t definitely pick up the honey scent. Not sure it flavors the tea as much. But it has a nicer mint taste and none of the weirdness of the regular mint. I like it and would recommend it if herbal mint tea if your thing. Maybe even if it isn’t.

drank Italian Lemon by Meßmer

I don’t usually go for lemon flavor in tea but I wanted to try all of the ones that come in the special boxes. I’m a lemonade girl..which is the best lemon flavor drink ever. But I figured I would give it a try anyway. This was actually decent. It had enough lemon flavor…a little bit to tartness when hot. I definitely like it cooled down. Not cold but just left in the cup to cool. Then I found it quite pleasant. Doesn’t beat lemonade but it’s decent. I dig it. Overall, glad I tried it. Probably won’t purchase again, so many teas- so little time. But if you like Lemon Herbal tea…maybe give it a try?

This tea smells delicious. I love Peach tea..specially a black peach flavored tea. The perfect summer drink. This is an herbal tea. I can’t drink too much caffeine tea at night so I got this a a cup to wind down. It was Ok. It smelled better than it tasted. But it was decent. I thought I would make a few batched iced but never got around to it. It’s alright like that but would prolly be much better as an actual tea. I like that it didn’t have an overwhelming hibiscus flavor which most fruity teas seem to rely on as a base.

drank Peppermint by Meßmer
271 tasting notes

I bought this to use to make minty iced tea from my Princess and the Frog kids cookbook (don’t judge me) . I’ve never made a tea “recipe” but I was pleasantly surprised. It was just 4 bag of peppermint, 2 bags of green, 4 cups water, steep peppermint 2 minutes and add green and steep 4 more minutes. Let cool, add maple syrup. Refrigerate. It was bomb. I made it a couple of times, then just ended up drinking the peppermint plain. Errr. It’s not the best peppermint tea. It has a strange taste to it sometimes and isn’t the best peppermint. I think it’s the tea bag that tastes funny. I’m not sure. Anyway…although it worked great in my recipe it isn’t great on it’s own. I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

It’s an OK winning down tea. I don’t think it helps me fall asleep…but I sleep a little deeper on SOME nights after I’ve had some of this. Taste is average. It’s nothing that stands out as good or memorable. Not much Lavender taste. Just…tea tasting.
