This tea tastes like melted gummy bears! The fruit flavor is STRONG, but unfortunately quite artificial. I really didn’t care for it hot, but it worked better for me iced. Glad I found a way to drink it, because Market Spice only sells in 4oz quantities, so I have a LOT of this to get through!

We used to have a little local gourmet shop that carried Market Spice teas bulk. I miss it … they had lots of nifty little novety flavors.

Inkling

Aww, I wish I could get my hands on it locally! They have some blends that I LOVE, but it’s definitely iffy ordering 4oz of a tea you’ve never tasted.

It does smell and taste strongly of pumpkin, but the taste is bitter. Next time I’ll try it with some stevia or honey.

It smelled nice but tasted very bitter. Next time I’ll try it with honey or stevia and review it again.

A previous reviewer described this tea as “pre-sweetened” and like a “dessert tea,” and the description on the site says it includes stevia leaves for sweetening.

That is exactly what I wanted as I am on a quest to find another sugarless tea that is very sweet to help me keep drinking tea instead of sugary lattes. But I do not taste one iota of sweetness in this tea. It smells like coffee creamer with fruit. It’s pretty bitter, maybe because I was really expecting this one to be sweet and am disappointed? I dislike the aftertaste. This is not a tea I’ll want to sip again soon.

I’ve been drinking this tea more frequently. In my previous review, I said it could be sweeter, but actually I find myself enjoying it as is. The pear taste is not overwhelming. It’s very smooth. I imagine this is what a ghost-pear might taste like. I get the scent and taste of pear and then it disappears off my tongue. There is a very faint bitter aftertaste that motivates me to take the next sip. This has risen to become one of my favorites.

This tea is sweet, but not as sweet as their signature cinnamon-orange tea.
I like it, but despite being described on the website as “like candy in a cup,” it could be sweeter.

Ingredients: Hunan Black Tea, Cinnamon Chips, Cloves, Star Anise, Stevia herb, Pear and Cinnamon Flavoring.

From the description on the site: “A cup of this tea will take you back to the amusement park! It tastes and smells just like a traditional caramel apple.”

I just- don’t get that? Maybe because I was expecting this tea to be sweeter, but I don’t feel any nostalgia or feel like this is reminiscent of a caramel apple.
This tea is not for me.

Ingredients: Hunan Black Tea, Lemon Peel, Caramel and Apple Flavoring.

I was a sweet latte drinker and this tea can replace my sugary lattes. It is very sweet, and as someone said, tastes a bit like artificial orange, but it is satisfying in the morning and helped me switch from soy milk lattes to tea.

The smell is strong delicious raspberry (it is described on the site as chocolate mint raspberry) and the taste is not bitter but also not sweet. I’m a fan of MarketSpice Cinnamon Orange, which is a very sweet tea, and bought some other flavors to sample. This one is really nice despite not being sweet.

Ingredients: Black tea, Red Raspberries, Mint Leaves and Chocolate-Mint flavoring.

This was an impulse purchase in my last Market Spice order and I’m actually wishing I’d ordered more than 2oz! (Especially since 2oz isn’t all that much when it’s such a heavy, fruit-filled tea blend.) This may be one of the best fruit-flavored black teas I’ve tried! I don’t really get the promised apricot flavor; it’s mostly mango and strawberry. But the combination is lovely and the base tea is the perfect smooth, lightly sweet foundation for the flavors. It’s great hot, but I just tried it iced for the first time and I think I may like it that way even better! A new favorite.

drank Caramel Apple by Market Spice

The tea box is here! So many teas to choose from I don’t know where to start. I initially brewed this for 3 minutes and didn’t like the result, so put the leaf back in my cup for another few minutes. It helped a lot, and now as it has cooled the caramel flavor is coming out. Not a whole lot of apple here, maybe as an aftertaste? I’m not sure how to rate this tea, as a flavored tea I’m sure it would be nice with some sugar or honey, but I rarely put in sweetener so maybe this one’s not for me.

Advent day 6! A very nice, strong caramel aroma coming through the bag. The caramel is the dominant flavor, but the candy-like apple is definitely present in the aftertaste.

A tad of overkill on the flavorings…but I love it. It makes my house smell like the holidays. The bag has a warning label warning those with orange sensitivities HAHAHAHAHA. It’s hilarious that people with an orange sensitivity would need to be warned not to drink orange tea .

My oh my, I absolutely adore this tea! I wanted something light and herbal for the evening without sacrificing taste and flavor, and this tea certainly delivered! The peach and coconut flavors compliment each other just right and the overall combination made this one of my favorite white teas to date.

Flavors: Coconut, Fruity, Peach, Sweet

Surprisingly, this is not a flavour combo I’ve seen much of before, but it sounds really good!

This one always reminds me of root beer for some reason! I wasn’t crazy about it the first time I tried it, but it has grown on me over time and become one of my go-to bedtime teas. I also had fun introducing this one (and several other loose leaf teas) to a friend in Dallas who’s normally a coffee person but has really only experienced grocery store tea bags. Her comment: “So this is why people like tea!” :)

drank Pina Colada by Market Spice

This has become a staple in my collection, because it’s one of those tisanes that even people who think they don’t like tea often enjoy. It has a strong pineapple flavor that mellows out into creamy coconut at the end of the sip. Very smooth and easy to drink. And it’s great both hot and iced!

From the tea box! The flavor is lightly fruity and pleasant. I feel like I can taste both the peach and the coconut. I made myself a small cup of this one because I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy it, but I may have to have another later!

From the first sniff of this tea, I knew it had to be my first sample from the travelling tea box. It smells like strawberry candy! Some sips are mostly woody, but others taste like a strawberry milkshake! I wish the tea had a bit more flavoring in it, but I’m certainly enjoying my cup.

It’s always a risk to try a new tea from Market Spice, because the smallest quantity they offer is 4oz. That’s a lot of tea if you don’t end up liking it! Thankfully, this is a nice herbal blend…kind of a like a strawberry milkshake in tea form. Nothing spectacular, but a nice option to have in my cupboard.

I have several teas from Market Spice that I love, but I so wish they would offer their tea in smaller quantities! Everything is in 4oz bags, so I am now stuck with a HUGE bag of this (to me) underwhelming tea. The tea itself seems like good quality: large, fuzzy, unbroken white tea leaves. But the flavor of the tea itself and whatever peach and coconut flavoring has been added is completely overwhelmed by the flavor of marigolds. Disappointing!

I don’t normally enjoy breakfast teas as they are usually too brisk for my liking. This one, however, has a nice mellow flavor that I have found I enjoy.

I can easily see this becoming a staple, especially since Market Spice is local and a few local tea shops also carry it. Its not my beloved Golden Snail, but its a lot easier to get. :)

This tea is spicy. I added milk to mine because it was overwhelming for me. It’s good if you love chai teas!
