The first few infusions carry a steamed pumpkin, marshmallow and caramel aroma & flavor, transforming into melon in later steeps. I am drinking this tea alarmingly fast! I may have to pick up another cake.

Smooth, sweet, with a clean golden orange soup. Noted a fleeting bitterness and stone fruit aroma.

I’d bought a few sheng samples, this one has me wanting a cake. A lovely tea.

this was definitely the tastiest semi aged raw I have tried. There was a sweet note from beginning to end with just a little bitterness in the mix. There was no strong note of leather or tobacco although I could taste a feint note trying to emerge but not quite succeeding. This is one I will drink again. I only gave this eight steeps because I want to move on to something else while it is still early but this was really good and would definitely have gone twelve or fourteen steeps.

I steeped this eight times in a 150ml gaiwan with 9.1g leaf and boiling water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, and 30 sec.
