This marks my second first flush of the new year. And, wow, what a cup. This had all the trappings of a Darjeeling first flush, but with the added burden of a tannic mouthfeel on the finish. It was all spices, grapes, and greenery the way through. The character was more in line with a Darjeeling oolong than a normal OP. Simply superb.

Warm, spicy, floral, herbally. This has a lot of ginger in it. The tulsi helps it out so it’s not ALL Ginger. I have acquired a taste for ginger when paired with tulsi or lemon or mint. This one is alright…Perfect for the cold weather today regardless!

Smells like cooked veggies – YUM!
After infusing the color is a warm lemon/lime. The flavor is almost savory. Semi brothy, a cross between veggies and flowers but not a stale floral flavor – a very nice one. I would say more vegetal than floral. It fairly velvety on the tongue too!

This is VERY nice! The more I drink the more I think – this maybe one of my fave green darjeelings to date!

This smells….CRISPY…dry.

This infuses to a VERY light brown…well, not even really brown…looks more like a pale green tea or a hued white tea color. Regardless it is a BOLD one! It’s a bit floral, malty, and has a hint of smoke which is a nice touch! I LOVE how malty this is…to the eye…I didn’t think it would be…but it is!

I LOVE THIS!

Starting my day with a cuppa this before sending the rest to LiberTEAs. This is sweet and semi-smooth but a bit mellower than the others I have tried so far from them. It’s still yummy that is for sure! Slightly caramelly and slightly chewy. YUM!

Ahhhhh!
Incredibly smooth! Fairly malty! BUTSMOOTH! a bit floral – but not grassy floral. A hint of nuttiness. This is an awesome smooth darjeeling! Lovely!

It does infuse to a medium brown and the color is lovely too!

ScottTeaMan

This looks more like a 2nd Flush, as you know they tend to be more nutty. Like me! :))

This is my first Happy Earth Tea TEA…I’m very excited…totally LOVE the company name! I will say that I have been emailing the company owner back and forth and they are lovely to deal with!

This smells a bit bakey or croissant-like…I really love the scent! That smell paired with the naturally fruity nose makes a unique and wonderful pairing!

WOW! This is a very flavorful – very sturdy Darjeeling! It has characteristics of darjeeling but it offers so much more! It also tastes VERY malty – YAY – and naturally fruity-goodness plows thru! It has a unique sweetness to it and is rather smooth on the end sip on to the aftertaste!

This is marvelous! I REALLY love this!
