This Earl Grey contains the freshest, strongest bergamot I’ve ever smelled/tasted! It may well be the nicest overall Earl Grey I’ve ever tried. For fans of extra-citrusy teas, this one is a good choice.

drank Darjeeling by Hampstead Tea
3 tasting notes

At the time of writing, this is the best Darjeeling available in the United Kingdom. For a black tea; it is light and it does offer a subtle fruity flavor. It still remains swirling in your mouth an hour after your have drank it. This is exactly what a Darjeeling should taste like. It is a staple of my daily tea routine at about 3:00pm. It’s perfect way to start signal the end of the working day and the start the transition into the evening.

OMG. I admit to trying every chai that isn’t nailed down, but when someone passed me
a bag of biochai….well I hadn’t known how amazing chai could be. Afterwards, I wasn’t sure how I’d ever go back to lesser chais again (tho Palquin is a good peppery alternative, so its not total doom & gloom)…but then a loose leaf version found me in one of my local haunts and happiness again reigns :) If you love chai, try this one.

Made this at work this morning and must have been distracted. The water too hot or the steeping too long. Not so tasty. Next cuppa will be better, right?!

Tastes like Dandelion, I haven’t had it in a while but when I did, I really didn’t like it, I might have prepared it wrong because it was in the early days of my tea drinking but just the memory might keep me away

This is a great licorice tea. Herbal teas can often be light and soft – this one doesn’t come across that way. The mixture of ingredients makes it taste strong in the mouth with a powerful licorice flavor. The fennel and peppermint don’t stand out, but blend with the licorice root to support it – you really don’t notice them until the back of the tongue when the mint kicks in.

This tea works extremely well either hot or at room temperature. Cold doesn’t serve this tea well and tends to hinder the flavor some. Highly recommended for licorice fans.
