Good Spirit Kombucha

One of the spots we went to early in my first afternoon here was a grocery store that exclusively carries local products – we were looking for my favourite salsa, but unfortunately it turns out that in the last year the company that made it has gone out of business. That was very saddening.

However, the trip wasn’t a total bust because I was able to pick up a bunch of local kombucha instead – which I’ve just been blowing through back at the house since it is HOT here. This was the first one I got though because, well, I’m a sucker for a soda themed kombucha. Hit me with all the probiotic soda, aha! Hell yes.

It was very good! Quite rich and just sweet enough with a root beer flavour similar to, like, a Barq’s root beer but with just a little bit of a more sour and vinegar-y top note. Definitely distinguishably kombucha and not just pop, but still a fantastic translation of that nostalgic flavour. Mmm!
