Backlog…had this the other day. Was nice to just pop a few bags into my Timolino and kid’s tumbler mug and get dressed in the morning rather than my usual double steep.

Tea was much better than expected. I think I am a little confused about this blend having both white tea and chicory root.

This is my kind of cookie in a cup. Lightly sweet, lots of almond flavor, and even though it is a white tea there is a bread-y flavor that lends a distinct cookie taste. Plus, this is a tea bag, so it’d be so easy to throw a few in my purse to keep on hand for tea emergencies. I’d definitely pick some up if I were to happen across them.

Thank you OMGsrsly for giving me the chance to try this one.

Sipdown (258)!

This is a really decent spiced white bagged tea. I’m glad I got it whenever it was I picked it up, but I don’t think I need to get it again. Today it’s mostly chicory and white tea that I’m tasting, with a few spices and a little sweetness.

And I’m still under 260 even with the new teas, which is nice. I might drink a few more easy sipdowns tonight, or maybe not. :)

It is still pretty nice though. I remember having some that you sent.

I don’t regret it at all, I’m just closer to figuring out what I drink in quantity, and white teas aren’t it. :)

Pretty good! I added a couple drops of stevia to this, and it was just nicely mildly sweetened.

The chicory and stuff in it lends to a somewhat thicker feel, which is also nice. Not a lot of caffeine, I don’t think, but I still enjoyed it. :)

(2 tea bags in 14 oz)

In other news… As far as nails go, the ones where I did base-top-regular.polish-top are looking better than the one I did regular.base-regular.polish-top. The more you know. I also did my toes with the kit colour. I’ve never had red toenails. I don’t think I ever want them again. I really dislike this red, wow. I wish I could have chosen my own colour. And of course since I’ve used it now, I can’t exactly give it away. :/

It really is decent for a bagged tea. And for a white, it sure does have body.

OMGsrsly

I need to drink it more often. They had it this last Christmas too, so I have my hopes up that I’ll be able to get more this coming Christmas. :)

I, uhh, double bagged this one tonight. Yes, tea with caffeine at 11pm. Why? Because I feel like it.

I’m supposed to be finishing up a presentation for a meeting tomorrow, but I don’t wanna. I should have enough time to do it in the morning if I don’t sleep through my alarm. Again.

Anyways. With a dollop of cream, this is really nice. Didn’t feel a need to add sugar to this cup for some reason. Maybe because it smells so incredibly sweet. Chocolaty, biscuity, and I can even taste the white tea today.

I need to remember this is in my cupboard so I can drink it all ASAP.

I got sucked into buying this tonight. It was either this for $2.69, or a tin of Coconut Matcha (sweetened) for $9.99. This won.

I’m actually rather impressed. I had guessed it’d steep into a bitter, terrible mess, but it hasn’t. Yes, the flavour is strong and isn’t the best quality, but the cocoa shells and chicory raise this up over a normal flavoured bagged tea. I’ll definitely finish the package, but I don’t think I’d buy it again.

Moooore tea! That’s why I try to stay away from the grocery store tea sections. Don’t need to be tempted by something potentially sub-par.

OMGsrsly

I’m actually quite pleased with it! It’s not even going bitter as it cools. :) The matcha is pretty good – I’ve had it before (Two Hills), but it’s sweetened and the Red Leaf coconut was soooo good. I’d rather wait for that one.

Fjellrev

Whew, well that’s good to hear. Bagged tea is sometimes good to have around when you’re on the go.

OMGsrsly

I think it’s the cocoa shells that make it. Tastes like Carnation hot chocolate made with cold water. Haha.

Karys

Hmm, sounds good, where can that brand be found?

OMGsrsly

I got it at London Drugs, but I see the brand in various stores now.

This tea steeps too weakly for my taste, even with two teabags in a cup. I honestly think that I’ll need to use three or four to get a decent cup. I only paid $2 for a box of 16 individually packaged teabags so for the price it’s not bad. At least the packaging makes it convenient. But personally, I’d prefer to pay a bit more for loose leaves that give a stronger steep than this one. It’s always nice to try something new though.

I never tried this because they’re always more expensive than the Ito-en/kirkland green teas that are always beside it…
But one time they had a sale I decided to pick it up. What a mistake.

It’s not so good. It turns sour/bitter way too quickly even if I adjust the water temperature, tastes more smokey like cheap Chinese green teas that I don’t like too much…
Not very pleasant… I’m chugging it down so I can go back to my old green tea…

Bof, vraiment, ça beau pas être cher, c’est du vrai thé en poche. Goûteux mais pas aromatique, vraiment correct pour la job mais sans plus.

Made some iced, and mixed some chamomile-mint in for fun. It wasn’t a very good combination. Or rather, this green tea is just not good. I have to decrease the rating. Can someone tell me, does green tea have an expiry?

This is not my favorite green tea. I find it tastes a bit like seaweed. But, I still make a cup every now and then, and it makes a pretty decent iced tea.
