Drink Me

This was a one-use sachet I received as a sample with a delivery of tampons, of all things. I added hot water and a dash of skimmed milk. A little on the thin side compared to other similar chai latte products I’ve had in the past, but overall it was pretty nice, if a little on the sweet side. Quite heavy on the cinnamon, which I enjoy.

Ok so, totally unbiased opinion, this stuff is pretty freakin good. A little sweeter than Im used to, but it works. When they say spiced, they mean it, too. :) And it wasnt all clumpy like I was half expecting. Great instant powder drink mix for a rainy morning. :) Love in a cup.

I make this the same way I do Horlicks: heat up my milk, mix the powder into a paste with a little hot water, then combine the two while whisking (if I’m feeling flash I’ll even froth the milk in my chocolatiere.) Nice warm milk drink for when I fancy something a little more flavourful than Horlicks or Ovaltine, but it doesn’t match a Starbucks Chai Tea Latte for flavour.
