I was a bit wary of this tea because it smelled very cinnamony and I was afraid it was going to be too strong, but the flavour was suprisingly delicate and well balanced. I also left it a bit lobger than I should have, but it did not detract from the flavour at all. This tea is one I will be drinking regularly

Other in my family thinks it’s too strong… But I like the full flavour. Leave for a minute and add some milk… Delicious. The best tea ever… black that is ;)

As long as you’re careful not to brew too hot or for too long, this is very nice. Not going to set the house on fire, but good for the times you just want to throw a teabag in a cup and have a green tea quickly.

Also Clipper is a fantastic company – this one is fair trade and the new boxes are very attractive.

I made a huge mug of this to chase away my mild headache. When brewed correctly, it is nice and sweet with a pleasant taste without being complicated. It’s just a tea cupboard staple for when you want something simple, you know? That’s exactly what I needed now.

I just tried this tea the first time some days ago, It have a quite obvious taste of vanilla but it also have a kind of bitter taste that can be typical for green teas, maybe I had the teabag in there to long though >_>

Very light [which is how they describe it!], smooth and delicate. It just kind of floats along with you. Definitely doesn’t overwhelm you. A tea for those moments of thought and calm, peaceful and relaxing. As I take milk [in most teas] I left the teabag in the whole time just to keep the flavour.

Lovely taste, could drink it all day. The “unbleached” teabags can be a bit of a turn-off because they look a bit dirty but less toxins and rubbish huh? I like the fact I don’t need to steep this tea forever to get a lovely strength and flavour. Very smooth, tastes like real tea should.

drank Earl Grey by Clipper

I’m trying this tea whilst sitting beside the Serpentine within Hyde Park. As I sit I’m watching the swans preen themselves, people riding horses on the far bank and listening to the Queens Guard bellow orders in the distance.

It’s a brisk morning and my partner and I needed a warm cup of tea to warm our bones. Earl Grey (my favorite) should do the trick.

The first time I tried this tea I found that although a balanced tea it is, it lacks the ompf I’ve come to expect from my Earl Greys. After brewing longer it’s starting to come out but it’s not quite there. In saying that I do enjoy it as it’s a ‘pure’ example of Earl Grey. It’s unadultered by citrus, rose and anything else they care to add.

It also is nice for an organic as most I find are selling karma not tea but that’s an aside.

Despite the fact I’m sure my enjoyment of the tea is biased by the cold and locale I’d still rate it highly. In short a good traditional tea in a country built on both tradition and tea.

This is by far my favourite Earl Grey, I used to go through countless cups a day. Now I save it for special occasions so I don’t get tired of it. I can’t imagine this could happen but I’d rather be save than sorry!

I received some of these as a free sample from Clipper. I was so enthused, but I just cannot bring myself to like this. I find it a fickle brew, with a tendency to go straight from watery to astringent without ever seeming to pause at the sweet spot. I may give it another go, but I don’t hold any great hope.

Love this tea. Really great pick me up in the afternoon especially after a busy morning.

My first observation: fantastic orange scent! The tea is darker in the cup than other white teas I’ve tasted, but the taste is still light. In keeping with the pleasant orange scent, the orange flavor is very subtle. It tastes like real orange oil, not overwhelming fruitiness found in other teas. Really nice and enough brightness for late morning (first cup of tea after arriving at work!). I suspect each tea bag could be re-steeped with good success.

I loved this Earl grey. All the gorgeousness of citrus and bergamot with out the caffeine.
This tea was slightly smoother but still delivers everything you’d expect from an Earl Grey tea.
I prefer a caffeine free tea early morning I love this tea’s subtle after taste. I’ve tasted a few non caffeine versions of muched loved tea’s by other companies and somehow I’ve felt like they were lacking in flavour.
I’d recomend this non caffeine tea to all Earl grey lovers. It would also be a smooth experience for the first time earl grey drinker.

Tried it again with less sugar. This time it tasted like a cup of hot water instead of a cup of sugary hot water. Goodbye, teabags which have lost their flavor.

I found a box which I think is about a year old of this in my cabinet today and decided to make a cup (1 teabag, ~12oz water, 1.5tsp sugar). I seem to recall this being reasonably good, but today I can barely taste anything but sugar and the faintest taste of ginger. So either I added too much sugar or the tea has lost its flavor or both.

It smells like Lipton Yellow Label, which made me very sceptical at first. Once in water for about three minutes however, it’s nothing like that horrible would be-tea. The taste is hard to define but it’s not bad at all. I’ll return to this one to explore it further.

The perfect tea for when you’re stressed out. The smell of raspberry is spot on, and the flavor isn’t overpowering,
