Cha Cha Matcha was one of many different cafes that we visited over the trip. They’re a pretty infamous and trendy location so it was pretty exciting to get to see the space in person, and honestly they probably had the best customer service of the dozen+ cafes we were at over the whole trip!
Everyone in our party ordered a different drink so that we could all compare but the one that I got for myself was the “Purple Drink” – an iced latte with CBD, lavender, and of course a shot of matcha. I chose to get mine unsweetened with coconut milk, and it was just stunning! Deeply purple with an almost shockingly vibrant green layer of matcha floated on top. It was very fresh tasting and the creaminess of the coconut milk with the lavender was as rich and flavourful as it was calm and relaxing. I feel like any less lavender would have been too weak with the strong coconut and matcha flavours but any more would have been perfume-y, so the balance was very impressive!
