The hazelnut flavor isn’t very pronounced, but this is a perfectly good chai otherwise, and the hazelnut doesn’t hurt. You don’t want to oversteep this as between the pepper and the black tea it will get bitter fast.

I already reviewed this one, but at that time I hadn’t tried it iced. I am pleased to report that it is very nice on ice, sweet and refreshing and for some reason (perhaps the ice cut the floral taste more than the others for some reason) a little less floral, with more accent on the strawberry flavor.

I tried it iced because I made some and I got distracted and didn’t drink most of it before it was lukewarm. So I just dropped in some ice cubes. It was NOT made extra-strong in anticipation of icing, although I tend to make my tea fairly stiff. :) It was fine and didn’t taste watered down at all. I definitely liked it better iced.

This tea is a little too floral-y for my preferences, but it’s perfectly drinkable. The strawberry gets a bit drowned out by the vanilla, but I like vanilla. It does not resteep well.

So my husband’s coworker and I are tea pen-pals. We send each other tea to try out. This is one that she didn’t like but hoped I would have better lucky with. Well, the leaves are so small and don’t seem to be great quality that the first steep is actually pretty disgusting and has to be dumped. The 2nd steep a little less so and the third, it actually starts tasting good (though I did add honey), but that’s really too much effort for a tea (also the instructions to steep for 4-5 minutes is ludicrous – not unless you want a sour taste in your mouth for the rest of the day). I mean, even Adagio does white tea better, and it’s not really seen as high brow (or high priced for that matter). I think the small “leaves” have something to do with the taste and maybe also the clear glass jar.

Usually I love Argo, so this has put me off trying any other whites from them. It’s almost like the tea shavings you’d get in low quality bags. Sadness.

I had high hopes for this tea. It seems that the pepper and cardamom dominate here. I don’t really taste any hazelnut at all. I prepared this with rock sugar and some soy milk as this is a very heavy and thick tea. I like it, don’t get me wrong, just thought it would have more of a hazelnut flavor

Very light and tasty! This smelled almost spicy because of the peppercorn but.the flavor is very mellow, it is.not overly apple-tasting, just a mild fruity flavor, reminds me of revolution white tea in pear, this is a very enjoyable tea.

OMG GROSS.

Like, this is so gross I feel like the tea is actually spoiled. Expiration date is good but this tastes fermented-y and the sourness from the lime is not helping me feel like it’s drinkable. It’s overly sweet too but I can’t get past the feeling that this tea is OFF.

I’m normally one to be pretty lenient with tea ratings but WOW. There’s no saving this one. Never again.

That’s the worst. I’ve had a few undrinkables too. You always have to wonder a bit what has happened, because teas shouldn’t ever go bad, per se. Stale yes, rancid coconut, yes, but bad?

Thanks Hapatite for this lovely Mate. I have really begun to love Mates. This has all (or least many) of my favorites: chocolate, almonds and Mate! Yeah! This is a nice flavorful tea which is hitting all my senses just perfectly.

This was alright, I received a sample of it. I wish it had been a cup of cinnamon, but mine was more a whisper of cinnamon. It was warming, and delicious to anyone who prefers lighter spice…but I like to be punched in the face with cinnamon.

(review of the bottled version)

I love ginger, and this tea was STRONG with ginger. There was so much ginger that I was literally chewing little spicy, bitter, tangy pieces of actual ginger.

This was also SUPER sweet…

I finished this because I like ginger, but at the same time I wouldn’t buy it again.

I have something against these bottled Argo teas… I think its because to me they don’t feel refined enough to come out of a bottle. Most of the ones I’ve tried of theirs are either too strong, too sweet, or there’s something off.

I have high hopes for the sangria one!

I liked this very much!

I tried this room temp, decided to pop it in the fridge and the enjoyment factor shot wayyyy up!

The rooibos was a tad over powering, but after the first three sips it seemed to mellow out.

The pomegranate flavor was all there and tasty for sure.

If you really like rooibos, then this may be for you!

I would try this again, but more for the glass than anything else!

POW. HONEY. Do you like a rich, dark, full honey taste? This tea is for you. Well, I’m not certain about the honey to tea ratio. Hahaha… I do like this WAY better than the Mojitea. This was actually tasty and I actually wanted to finish the bottle unlike the Mojitea. So wonderful chilled, and also tasty iced!

FACT: I bought this bottled tea today mostly because I wanted the awesome glass bottle that it came in.
ANOTHER FACT: The tea inside the bottle was actually pretty fantastic. Normally, mint tea makes me gag. And bottled tea is much much much too sweet for me. But this one was blended with lime juice and real cane sugar, so it was refreshing and – get this – tasted like real tea. No plastic-y, fake, processed taste. I could have brewed this myself. It wasn’t even that expensive! It turned out to be exactly what I needed on this horridly humid day.

If I’m ever in a pinch and need another quick iced tea fix, I’m going straight for Argo. (Plus, having a collection of these most excellent reusable glass bottles with the screw-tops wouldn’t be a bad thing…)

Backlog from vacation. This was pretty good for a bottled tea. The honey flavor was very assertive; instead of the generic, sweet, “honey” flavor many bottled teas use, this was identifiably the good stuff. Somehow that managed not to overwhelm the tea base despite being the dominant flavor, and the lemon kept it from being overly sweet (although I reached for it because I wanted sweet). I think I’d like to try the dry version of this so I can control the sugar content myself, but it was a pleasant surprise when I had to grab something quickly in the airport.

Lime? Check. Yuck…
Mint? Check.
Sugar? Check. Check. Double, triple, quadruple check…

It tasted like a candle, or like a perfume/bodyspray.

The lime was too sour in my opinion. It was almost bitter. I loved the minty flavor, but it didn’t seem to go well with the overly sweet and sour flavor. The flavors didn’t really blend well together like a real mojito would. They seemed to be all over the place.

I also think the sourness gave me an upset stomach. :( I did not end up finishing it.

The glass bottle is the best part! I will try other argo teas, but NOT this one again. YUCK.

Tried this cold brewed and it’s basically just a glass of cinnamon. Nah, that’s supposed to be a flavour hint, not a feature. This one’s getting gifted to my cinnamon-loving friend.

Got this as a sample from Carol Who, thanks carol!
This tea is yummy! I brewed 2t for 5 min with 8 oz boiling water. (I am not usually that specific with my brewing, but I figured I should follow the directions as best as possible when trying samples :) ). I mixed in coconut milk (I don’t do milk) and honey. And then I waited for it to cool down enough for me to drink it. The first few sips were good but a little weak. As it has cooled down the flavors have come out more and made it taste stronger. Right now this tea is quite tasty. I taste the yummy cinnamon and spices and to me they mix wonderfully with the coconut and honey flavors. I also saved the leaves to try a second steeping, I’ll let you know if it is good :)

Green teas and I don’t really tango well. They’ve gotta blow me off my feet. Even green flavoureds. And this green tea just tasted like green tea. I wanted to taste the flavours, I did! I’ll give it another go, maybe in a mug rather than the timolino, and then maybe iced as well. That’ll get me through the rest of the sample, anyway…
