AKA Dwelling sent me a sample of this tea to review. Thank you!
The smell of the dry leaf is almost overwhelmingly cinnamon. I was reminded of walking through stores where they sell cinnamon brooms – it was that potent. The brewed tea is a little less so, but still mostly a cinnamon flavor rather than black tea or orange. I don’t get orange at all. It’s not an unpleasant tea but probably not one I would reorder.

Oh, this is lovely! The root beer scent carries through in the aroma and taste. I remember sassafras plants from my childhood going to a YWCA camp in Michigan. It brings back such good memories.

Opening the package, the scent just knocked my socks off. It is obviously fresh. This hasn’t been sitting around in a warehouse!! Rarely have I had a tea this aromatic.

I added a bit of sweetener to my cup and I’m in heaven. It has such a lovely smooth mouth feel. Almost as if there is milk in it. It does have the typical sharpness of rootbeer that I would expect. I’m really not sure If I can save smoothness and sharpness in the same paragraph but that’s the way it feels.

AKA Dwelling is offering samples of this with a promise of a review. You might want to try it! Yummy!
