The first infusion of this is still my favorite.

I saved my leaves from last night and had two more infusions from it. And I never heard my timer on the third one so I have no idea how long it steeped for. But it still tastes good. Not bitter.

Still sick. Head is so stuffed. The lovelies on the steepster chat recommended a strong black tea. I picked this one.

Good choice.

Rich, strong, dark, cocoa, creamy, malty, sweet, delicious.

comforting.

Hopefully the caffeine doesn’t keep me up all night. We’ll see.

But it is making me feel better, even if my head is still stuffed beyond belief and I think I’m going to sneeze again.

On the plus side, while I stayed up a little later than planned, I never felt like I was up from the caffeine, more like I was sucked into a good book.

This was one of the samples that GTT sent me to make up for the lack of a teapot that I ordered. Okay, they forgot to send me the samples and I complained, so they then sent me samples. I’d already had a sample of this, so I was kinda bummed, but hey, free tea.

It’s got a great mouth feel, but the flavor isn’t as strong as I would like.

Today, I am sick, so the flavor is really lacking. But the mouth feel is there. Bonus. Big mugs of this are providing comfort. Always nice.

I’m sick, so this doesn’t really count as a review, because I couldn’t really taste it.

But I liked it.

Different than other whites. Had a surprising depth to it. I think it might have been a little malty or something. There was definitely a something to it.

And then I accidentally let the second infusion steep way way way too long. It was still okay, not bitter.

White tea from Assam!

Cheri

That’s what I said, Lee! I’d offer to share, but I don’t have very much, so I couldn’t taste it as well as I wanted to, so I definitely want more of this. Different and unique!

Lee

Oh no I wasn’t wanting you to do that,,, I was just surprised to see this!!! Get better soon and then please review with all your taste buds bc this is interesting!

Cheri

I’m normally more than happy to share.

Decent four seasons. It’s working for me today because I’m home sick with an incredibly sore throat and just feeling miserable in general.

Sweet. Creamy. Really good.

I was distracted by work this morning and let an early infusion go longer than planned. Then all other infusions had to be long, too. I had a couple of really long ones at the end. The last was maybe half an hour…possibly longer…and it was just sweet. So delicious.

KiwiDelight

Woah, this tea is sure endurable.

SarsyPie

Wow, that’s kind of amazing!

Cheri

It was delicious. Not really hot by that point, but it tasted tasty.

Yum. This is such a good tea. It’s a really nice four seasons oolong – my favorite by far to be honest. It’s just got the exact right flavor that I want. It’s also really relaxing and comforting. I’m curled up with a mug of the first infusion, but I think when this is done, I’ll add more hot water, and go curl up with my book.

I haven’t had this in quite some time. I’d forgotten how delicious it is. It’s the right amount of floral, the right amount of nutty, fresh, flavorful. Delicious.

This is not the first time I’ve had this tea, but it’s the first time I’ve written a tasting note.

It’s really good. Sweet. A little floral. A touch almost nutty, but not really. Delicious.

I love oolong at work when things are awful here, because a good cup can keep me company all day. It provides comfort. Multiple infusions.

I’m doing this one western style today because I just don’t have time to deal with even my pseudo gongfu. It works. It works well.

But I think I will take this tea home so I can try it with my cute oolong clay pot. (My tea kitty also wants to drink some of this delicious tea.)

I had this one today at work. It’s been a bad week or three so far, crazy busy. I guess it’s not a horrible thing that Steepster has been having issues, because I haven’t been tempted to spend too much time on here.

Anywho, this tea.

I was busy, so I don’t remember a lot. The first few infusions were strong, but kinda sweet. Then it got a lot mellowed, but still delicious. I went from 20s all the way up to 8m before deciding this one was pretty much done.

I liked it a lot. It kept me company. I don’t remember details, because I was too distracted by all the rest of the crud going on here in the office, but I know I really liked it.

Still relatively new to drinking teas, or so I feel, even though I’ve been at it for several months now.

I’m drinking more and more of different varieties of tea.

It’s been a few months that I’ve been on here. I’ve expanded from greens and flavored teas to now I’m all about the oolongs and some unflavored blacks. I’m mostly drinking unflavored teas now, but there are a few of those flavored ones that have a special place in my heart.

Pu-erh is also something I’ve recently found that I enjoy.

I have four kitties and a spouse.
