I’m still loving this tea! The taste is almost as good as the energy it gives me. I have a Breville so I have to make a minimum of 2 cups. If I resteep I suddenly have 4 cups. OH MY! Today I vacuumed and steam cleaned all the carpets, washed all the tile and wood floors. Amazing how much energy I feel. Not bad for an old lady! I will definitely have to keep lots of this in my cupboard!

I ordered some samples from Design a Tea. Super cheap, pick your own flavors and base. I received them today… awesome. My first is a rooibos base with rum and almond. The aroma when I first opened the sample practically made me swoon. The rum and almond aroma go so well together. I added just a bit of Monk’s Fruit to sweeten it. Yummy! I might have to actually order some of this blend for my cabinet.

I love my pineapple teas even though they often seem to disappoint. After trying it once I decided to try another cup with a longer steep. It brought out the pineapple which is what I wanted. I added a little monk’s fruit. It’s quite yummy! This will be a great bedtime tea and I think it will be good cold brewed. I love it that Lipton’s is stepping up their quality and choices.

drank Almond Oolong by Adagio Teas

Not getting enough almond to call this almond oolong. It’s not bad but it’s a little nothing. I added some almond flavoring and now it’s right on target. Apparently I like my flavors a little over the top. But I am enjoying this.

There’s something about this one that reminds me a bit of oatmeal, which is what I like about it. There are definitely a few out there that are more full-on almondy, though.

Luckily it was just a sample, so I can get through this. :)

I wanted to love this but some how I can’t. This is the second time I’ve had it and it just not what I expected from other people’s notes. Maybe under leafed? I taste the EG but I’m not getting the berry taste. However, I maybe having a bad tea day. I’ve had several tea samples today that just didn’t hit the right note.

drank Dreamsicle Puerh by 52teas

I have never tried any puerh teas before. With the dreamsicle flavor I still don’t know what puerh really tastes like. I do however enjoy the dreamsicle aspect of this tea. It has a slight creaminess that makes the orange so smooth. The end of the sip is a little astringent leaving my mouth slightly dry but not interfering with the dreamsicle flavor.

Yummy! The aroma is intoxicating! It smells so much like the brioche I remember from the pastry shop near where i used to work. The taste fulfills the promise given in the aroma. For me, the beginning of the sip has the strongest of the brioche taste. If I drink again right away it seems to be less prevalent but if I wait between sips the taste is right back where it should be. I’m probably am just imagining it. Very tasty cup of tea. I am definitely going to put this on my wish list.

drank Mom's Apple Pie by DAVIDsTEA

I often wonder if I’ve over/under leafed or over/under steeped when I am not as excited by a tea as others. I sense some apple and cinnamon. Nothing overly interesting. I’ll drink what I have but won’t bother with it again.

I actually had to go back to the kitchen and see what kind of tea I had in my mug. It is a very smooth cuppa with (for me) just the right balance of spices, yerba mate and a bit of chocolate. The chocolate is mild but together it is striking just the right note. I like the energy level of yerba mate for all the reasons others have already noted. The box said to steep for 5-10 min. I steeped of 6.5. I wonder what it is like if I try a longer steep? More chocolate-y? Guess I’ll have to add more to this note later.

I am so upset with myself. I made a really great cup of tea and I have know idea what is in it. I unintentionally cleaned up the kitchen counter (Last time I do that!) and put the teas away. I think it was Angel’s Kiss from SereneTeaz and Apricot from Cameron’s. It seems to have black and green teas and some lovely fruits. I’d highly recommend it if i knew what it was! ;-p

Retired first grade teacher. I tend to like dessert type/herbal teas as a substitute for sweet treats; flavored black teas and mates to get that energy that I am often lacking ;-p
My husband of 43 years thinks I’m nuts regarding the whole tea thing… but he bought me a Breville for Christmas, so what can I say. :-D
My other interests are reading (books go well with tea :D) and beading. I volunteer at my “old” school teaching reading and I volunteer for the blind. I am trying hard to lose weight ( I have now lost 40 lbs and I’m looking good in my skinny jeans, IMHO) I am now walking about 4.5 miles a day and I am trying to do some core work for about 30 min. 3x a week.

I have been watching Doctor Who for 33years. In case you can’t tell my avatar is two daleks drinking tea! I am always open to swapping Doctor Who books for tea. I have about 120 Doctor Who books that I am eager to send some to a fan. :D Let me know if you would like any books! I love that so many people have begun watching DW!

Also I love swaps, pm me if you’d like to do a swap.

Since I find others’ rating legends helpful, I added my own.

Below 50 Meh! Wouldn’t bother drinking it again.
