I just realized that after drinking this tea, I am really not a fan of teas with apple/pear. It makes my stomach upset…. :-(

First ever oolong tea I’ve tried. I think I’m ready for oolong now – or just for this one. So love the taste and smells good too.

Today is Easter Sunday and I forced myself to get up from bed. That’s what you get from staying up so late and you know that you need to be up in the morning because you have to go to church… Anyways. Coming home and feeling I’ll catch a cold (sneezing, headache…), I decided I need a cup of green tea (I always prefer green tea). SO! I steeped this tea (from an unopened store-bought bag and this is my first time to try this tea).. . Now drinking it makes me feel relaxed and cold hands and feet and sneezing gone… If it’s only my thinking that this tea refreshes and relaxes, I don’t care.. At least I never fail to enjoy green tea every time…. Happy drinking, tea-lovers!

In my everyday tea-drinking, I am learning that you can play with how the outcome of your steeped tea will taste. The key word is to adjust the measurement and steeping time depending on how you want your tea: pale or strong, tastier or creamier, hot or cold…. I was excited to try this tea the first time I had this. But turned out I didn’t steeped it long enough and didn’t put enough leaves to get the taste I was expecting… In short, I was disappointed. But being a person who don’t give up easily (aside from the fact that I don’t want to just throw it away-waste of money), I tried it again… This time I added more leaves and steeped it longer (experimenting is free). My verdict is it tasted better than the first time and the smell is stronger ( chocolate, hmm). Just finished the bag of 25 grams but no plans of stocking because I think I can live without it…. So far, the Red Velvet Cake is still the best black tea for me…. Happy drinking, tea-lovers!

Every time David’s tea comes out with a new tea, I’m always eager and excited to try it. Say it curiosity or something but I will never be able to sleep not until I get hold of the new tea. But take heart…. Not all new teas are meant to be tried and tested by me because I am biased to green and white tea then black tea in that particular order, wink! So when this tea was out in the store, I grabbed some.
Described as a comforting tea, I brewed a cup when I got home feeling blah from somewhere. First, I smell cinnamon then sipping it I tasted ginger. Not bad I should say BUT not to stay in my cupboard. Simply because I realized that I am not a cinnamon fan (when it comes to tea flavoring). Sorry David’s but Buddha’s Blend and Gold Rush are still my white teas… I will just finished the remaining leaves in the bag but not re buying; this is for my preference, but I’m not sure for those who like pear and cinnamon…..Happy drinking, tea-lovers!

Bio

Tea-lover, tea-explorer…

Growing up, I never know anything about tea. No one told me about tea and I never encounter tea until last 2012 during my school break-time when I was wandering in the mall and saw this then famous Teopia. I tried a cup (can’t remember what kind of tea) and right there and then, I decided I want to get healthy and I will drink tea from now on… So being an impulsive shopper, I ended up leaving the store with a starter kit – infuser, measuring spoon and 50 grams of green tea. Since then every time I came across a tea store, I will not go out without buying a tea pouch or tea tins.
I am trying to consume a cup or more a day with different types but mostly green or white and continuously exploring.
Loves to drink green and white tea and keeps my tea-shelf “updated” with new and most-drank and most-rated teas. I discovered that I can’t tolerate teas containing mint and citrus/citric acid. I’m gradually trying some black teas as some makes my stomach acidic. Tried Oolong and decided to not have much of it in my cupboard. Puerh is really a no-no for me because of the taste and smell. But who knows I might find one that will change my preference in the future.
I joined Steepster to benefit me from what I love doing at present: tea-drinking, tea-exploring and tea-etc…

Simple, friendly and outgoing, with a positive attitude, I like malling, net surfing, watching movies and reading.
