This tea surprised me. I tend to be a little bearish on fruity teas but I really enjoy this one. The apricot is balanced just right with the Ceylon base. While I drink my tea hot regardless of the season, I can’t wait to try this one iced. I bet it’ll be a perfect complement to summer. I’ll definitely be buying more of this one.

This is a solid Earl Grey. Even if you don’t usually care for EG, you should probably try this one; it’s very mild. I personally tend to want as much bergamot as you can give me when I’m going the Earl Grey route, but this is still good tea and one that I would recommend.

Really solid oolong; it’s light and fresh, almost like you can taste the elevation. I like bold hearty teas as much as the next guy, but sometimes you need something more delicate. This tea will do that for you. I’m really looking forward to additional steeps of this one and am glad this is one of which I can purchase more.

I really enjoy this tea. This is not surprising, since I like wuyi and oolongs overall as a rule, but this one is really quite good. There’s something particularly satisfying about its roasted scent and taste on a cold morning in particular. If you like Red Robes you’ll certainly like this one. The only downside is that I don’t have more.

It’s been a while since I’ve had any activity around here, but I logged in today specifically to rate this tea. Because I like it. It is good. I happen to think it’s very good.

I think I expected it to taste like A&D’s last Earl Gray. I was fine with that, as the previous one was good. This one is better. As others have already noted, there’s no skimping on the bergamot here. This is unsurprising if one knows Mssrs. Andrews and Dunham. Actually, I don’t know them, but I buy all of their teas. It seems to me that they like strong black teas. I have no quarrel with this.

So yes, healthy infusion of bergamot here, but there’s something slightly different about it here. Good different. I haven’t yet decided what I think that is, but I don’t immediately associate it with any other particular Earl Gray that I’ve previously enjoyed. I account this a good thing because it tastes great. I agree with Jen that it seems like there’s some sort of blend in the base tea. Regardless, it’s delicious.

Fortunately this is not a limited edition. While I enjoy getting a numbered, limited edition tin as much as the next guy, I don’t feel like I have to sprint through this tin to justify ordering a second before they run out…and there will definitely be another tin of this in my future.
