Sipdown – made iced for my husband and myself. I am very sad to see you go dear Mango – we have been good friends. :(

Oooo, I loved Mauna Kea! I had their first flush green this year. Very Taiwanese-ish

This is a sweet juicy light tea. It is quite pretty to watch the leaves dance in a clear tea pot!
The flavor is almost candy like but not that sweet.
There is definitely a sweetened vegetable flavor.
Sugar snap peas perhaps.
What a difficult note to name.
I am very much enjoying it although probably not for a morning wake up cup. This is more a mid day or evening relaxation – mediation cup.
There is a sparkling sensation in the mouthfeel.
A green bean flavor peeks out now and then.
Slightly buttery but not too much.
Although you can’t get TOO buttery in my opinion :)
Very thirst quenching!
I normally like teas that are a bit stronger, more robust yet I can absolutely appreciate the delicate nature of this tea.
A “feminine” tea in my book.
One you may share at a tea party with some cookies or biscuits.
Dainty and delicate yet the flavors are there!

Wow what a surprise! I grabbed this thinking it was a black tea. It was so delicious I decided to do a review on it for http://sororiteasisters.com/
As I looked into this tea further I realized its an OOLONG!
I never would have thought that!
It has such a black tea flavor!
Perfect notes such as ripe juicy apricot, butternut squash, syrup, malt, omgoodness.
What a wonderful way to wake up on this cool crisp leafy autumn day!

What a treat! Going on my shopping list as I unfortunately only got a sample size when I ordered.

Sil

Ooooh sounds delicious!

Azzrian

It is SO unusual! I was just beside myself that this could be an oolong! VERY tasty!

Sil

I’m always a fan of oolongs that don’t appear to be oolongs lol

Donna A

Hmmm. Sounds interesting!

Becky

Those flavors sound like an amazing combination _
I may have to try some!

Azzrian

drank Caramel & Rum by Lupicia

This could possibly get me to order a rooibos!
I get the rum and caramel but combined this is BUTTERSCOTCH and you all know I love butterscotch! On the other hand – Rooibos – :P
However the flavor is so strong I can’t even taste the rooibos so all is well! :)
On the shopping list it goes!

Sil

Zomg! It must be good! Lol

Azzrian

Haha yeah for me to want a rooibos tea it must be decent! :)
It just worked well with the rooibos’ natural flavors somehow.

Oh Joy! I am beginning to feel human again after a 3 hour sleep and getting up at the crack of dawn. I am vampiric by nature lol meaning I am a night owl.
Anyway I have not had a matcha in I think probably three days at least.
This … is so good!
I have many enough matcha left for one more cup of this flavor. Absolutely to be reordered!
Could not be more like cotton candy unless it was cotton candy!

Sharing some of this with TeaEqualsBliss since she LOVES mint!
Just got this in today and I sure needed the kick start!
Really delicious with a nice level of vanilla and that kick of mint.
I had forgotten this one had the mint in it – I know exactly what times I want to enjoy this one!
Another win from Stacy! What else would one expect? :)

LiberTEAS

I’d love to try some too, if you’ve got any left? :)

Azzrian

You got it! :)

TeaEqualsBliss

Thanks Sista!

Delicious! I was surprised by this one! Not that I doubted Stacy or her array of fine teas but I just was going to have a lazy morning making a nice breakfast and not do a review but this one has inspired me to do so! Sweet, creamy, sweet potato, chocolate, …. more to come in my review on http://sororiteasisters.com/
I love it when a tea inspires me! I got this as a sample in an order I got today from Stacy and I was honestly just wanting to enjoy a new tea. Which I have, and still am but I have to give credit where credit is due and go do a full review! Thanks Stacy for letting me try this one!

drank Organic Korakundah by Butiki Teas

I love the smell of this one! Steeped it is a very light greenish yellow.
It smells very fresh and vegetal – it reminds me of the fruit and veggie farm down the road from me and what the air around it smells like when I drive past or visit it in the summer. I love having that place near by! We have a lot of “fruit farms” (they sell veggies too but we call them fruit farms) around here but its so cool having one literally blocks down the street.
Anyway this has that fresh air aroma to it with a slightly salty and buttery note.
My first sip is interesting – the cup is still very warm but I get an oceanic flavor – a little fishy but in a good way – I swear this tastes a little like water that crab legs have been steamed in – I know that may sound disgusting to some but in a strange way I love it!
There is also this sweet note coming out that is like candied pears.
Wow – I can’t believe I have never had this before!
A huge thank you to LiberTEAS for sending me a sample of this!
I did not get any astringency in my sip – more of a light twang sensation on the tongue which was nice and a bit salty. A very bright mouthfeel – not broth-y.
There is a buttery note here but it is not strong as in some green teas.
I can kind of get a hint at that smokiness but I honestly would not have picked up on that had I not read about it in the description or LiberTeas review. To me its just this lovely ocean like misty tea. Salty, a little sweet, slightly buttery, lightly vegetal and airy.
FRESH in one word.
I like it.

Most of my reviews will be “snippits” of full reviews that can be found at http://sororiteasisters.com/
Posted every evening at 6 EST.
I usually try to post the exact date that the full reviews will post however sometimes post dates need changed so it may not always be correct. Generally the dates are correct however.

About Me:

Most of my reviews, although not all, will be quite favorable of the tea. This is not because all tea is excellent, but more so because I generally will not waste my time on an inferior tea. If I do not care for a tea I won’t continue to drink it let alone spend time reviewing it. If you see a review by me you basically know it is a quality tea. Granted it may not suit your specific taste buds, we all like different things, but as for a tea on the whole it is a good one, from a good company.

I am a spiritual advisor by profession.
I have two “young adult” children.
Four cats and three dogs.

Some of my hobbies include gardening, essential oil therapy, natural perfumery with essential oils, and cooking.

I look for complexity overall in any tea, dimensions to the flavors.

I believe tea should evoke a feeling, thought, emotion, or attitude.

I enjoy most all oolongs, blacks, whites, and greens.

I always love to try a good yellow tea.

I favor unadulterated teas but I do have my longings for a good flavored tea now and then so I don’t rule them out by any means!

I enjoy green rooibos don not like red rooibos.
