Floral lovers, this tea is for you! The dry leaf is gorgeous, accented with various flower bits – roses, lavender and chamomile. The flavor is creamy, very floral, mellow and a little fruity. The balance of floral is well done as the lavender isn’t over the top, and you can taste each flower.

However, you totally need to be a floral lover to enjoy this tea. it’s pretty floral, so it can be close to soap territory to some.

SOOO GOOOOD! Black tea lovers of Steepster, you gotta check this tea seller out!

This Lapsang isn’t over the top smokey, in fact it is just a background of burnt caramel. The flavor is malty, rich, heavy, plum, raisin, barley, caramel, bread, tart and lightly dry. This tea also goes insanely well with a white cheese, omg! This LS is super friendly yet complex for a seasoned tea drinker. Love it!

Admittedly, I was supposed to blog about the tea pet as the tea was a bonus. The tea was so good, I ended up writing about that. Now I’m trying to restrain myself from blowing $50 at Joseph Wesley.

The smell of this coffee leaf tea is pungently herbal, so I was expecting something pretty bushy tasting or maybe like coffee.

Turns out AOB Coffee Leaf Tea tastes really smooth. Has a malty, 5 steeps in black tea flavor, with a grassy, herbal and hay spike, all over a honey and licorice sweetness. It is pretty unique tasting and reminds me a little like guayusa but not as grassy as yaupon.

So far this is my favorite GABA tea – this one has an tasty sour dough raisin bread with honey flavor. The other GABA teas I’ve had were all green oolongs which are more in sour vegetal country. However, Black GABA appeals to me more as that crazy GABA flavor works better with the black base adding more comfort food feels, at least in my opinion.

This tea is also very pretty – it steeps up gorgeous, glowing and clear with a huge leaf!

I like the refreshingness of this tea – the spearmint and lemon are a nice combo and it is cool to see a minty lemon tea that isn’t a herbal. Adam is great for a winter pick me up for afternoon tea. I’m not a fan of spearmint, but if I was, I’d be all over this tea.

This one is the favorite of the 3 Nina’s Paris I tried for this batch of Oolong Owl tea reviews. The orange flavor is awesome – sweet and kind of like clementines. The earthy base compliments the berry flavors nicely. The finish is raspberry and blueberry, with a lingering raspberry taste. Another tea I wish I had more so I could try it iced.

I think I like Magicienne and Marie Antoinette a little more, but this one is pretty good right now as I’m hurting for those tasty summer berries!

Yum, a grapefruit tea! I found this tea delicate in flavor but had plenty going on. Sips in strawberry (tops and all) with a hint of rose. The green tea base melds perfectly with the straberry flavor. The tea finishes with a tangy white grapefruit flavor. I wish I had more to try iced as I think it’ll be even better!

Four Horsemen! I had a laugh as this tea was also with Seven Seas Herbal in the Simple Loose Leaf coop for November. I was thinking some kind of tea apocalypse was happening with natural disaster and a giant angry kraken.

Ahem, anyways, Four Horseman black – this is rich, malty, mega bold and smokey. A breakfast tea of muscle. You’ll love this one if you love a strong breakfast. Me? Ehhh, little too bold for me and not enough interest to want me to drink for fun, I’d drink this one to wake up.

I quite enjoyed this tea, even though I’m more into an oxidized oolong than a jade oolong.

This Dong Ding is quite floral with jasmine and baby’s breath notes. The tea has a really nice texture that is thick and smooth, with notes of sweet, asian pear, leafy vegetables, sweet peas. Later infusions has a bit of acidity and dryness.
