Just tastes like strong peppermint. I do appreciate that the tag bags smell sugary like actual candy canes, however.

drank Assorted Herbal Teas by Twinings

I really like this combo because it doesn’t have any acidic herbal teas like most assorted boxes do. The cinnamon spice one is my favourite. The others are quite good as well. For the price, this is a really nice set to buy if you are like me and need variety.

drank Decaffeinated Orange Pekoe by Red Rose
2958 tasting notes

Tastes just as strong as the full caffeine variety.

Malty, with a hint of milk flavour. This is a fantastic bagged orange pekoe and better than several loose leaf varieties I have tried. I enjoy mine with a touch of honey and a splash of milk. It makes a good every day tea.

Flavors: Malt, Milk

Preparation
Boiling 2 tsp 12 OZ / 350 ML

It is good, but nothing special. You can taste the bergamot but there isn’t a lot else to the tea.

Flavors: Bergamot, Bitter, Malt, Tannin

drank Decaffeinated Orange Pekoe by Tetley

I find this orange pekoe bitter and overly tannic. The colour is a strong orange and there is a slightly malty flavour and smell to the tea. It isn’t a terrible tea, but I do prefer other brands of orange pekoe.

Bio

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)

My cupboard is mostly up to date. For a more comprehensive list, see my stash spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-HjWKR3um-xEnj6HC9vMvKXOAyj_bpW5u_2ixEC20-k/edit?usp=sharing
