This tisane is super acidic even if you only brew it a few minutes. Not even honey or milk can calm its sourness. It actually curdles milk! If you like fruity iced teas in the summer, this makes for a good iced tea if you don’t mind tart.

Flavors: Citrus, Lemon, Lemon Zest, Sour

Preparation
Boiling 1 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 250 ML

drank Dark Cherry by Celestial Seasonings

Tasty, but gets acidic fast. It is good iced or with milk but avoid leaving the teabag in for more than a minute or two if you brew it hot. A word of caution: it will curdle milk if steeped too long.

The cherry flavour is very apparent, which is wonderful. It is a bit tangy but also sweet, a bit like fruit punch with extra cherry juice. It brews to a deep cherry red.

Flavors: Cherry, Fruit Punch, Fruity, Overripe Cherries, Pleasantly Sour, Sweet

One of the best bagged peppermint teas available. It is very pepperminty, but the leaves taste very fresh and sweet.

drank Spicy Anise by English Tea Shop

This tea is super tasty! I love the anise and spices together. The tea is spicy, however the sweetness for the licorice flavour is really nice with it. The black tea gets bitter if the teabag is left in too long.

Flavors: Anise, Cinnamon, Licorice, Spices, Spicy

I didn’t enjoy this tea, however I don’t enjoy melons so my person opinion should not sway you from trying this tea. It was presently floral and fruity. There was a sweetness to it, however it was a bit acidic as well.

Flavors: Floral, Fruity, Green Melons, Honey, Sour, Sweet, Tangy

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 30 sec 10 OZ / 300 ML

Just tastes like strong peppermint. I do appreciate that the tag bags smell sugary like actual candy canes, however.

Bio

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)

My cupboard is mostly up to date. For a more comprehensive list, see my stash spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-HjWKR3um-xEnj6HC9vMvKXOAyj_bpW5u_2ixEC20-k/edit?usp=sharing
