Oh god yes, this herbal blend is autumn comfort in tea form. It suddenly became wet, dreary autumn and I need a tea like this to keep me going. I love the custard flavour – super creamy, a lot like creme brulee. Some sweetness from the apple, but you don’t taste the apple that much. The hibiscus isn’t sour, but it nicely balances the flavours. This is just so rich and creamy, it reminds me of my Grandma’s Christmas butter-rum sauce. It has that buttery, creamy, rum flavour I just love. And then you get a bit of dried fruit/raisin…I’m stoked to have this again.

Try it brewed strong, it is sweeter and extremely flavourful that way. Also try 1.5-2 tsp because it is bulky, but then resteep it a few times as a latte. It loses the creaminess a bit on the second and third steeps, but still has all of that delicious rum flavour. Try 1st steep plain, then 2/3rd steeps with milk.

Flavors: Apple, Butter, Cream, Creamy, Custard, Dried Fruit, Raisins, Rum, Smooth, Sweet

Bio

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)

My cupboard is mostly up to date. For a more comprehensive list, see my stash spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-HjWKR3um-xEnj6HC9vMvKXOAyj_bpW5u_2ixEC20-k/edit?usp=sharing
