It smelled very fruity in the bag, however the aroma and flavour of the steeped tea is floral with a lot of sweetness from some sort of stone fruits. I do not taste and tea at all.

It steeps a very attractive rich orange colour. The initial taste is slightly tangy but mostly fruity and then you are left with floral and sweetness after swallowing.

The coconut is very strong in this tea, but I personally find it works well with the sweet honey bush base. This makes an amazing latte or iced tea, but it is also fantastic hot.

I brewed it for a lot time because I like the strong rich bronze colour that you get from rooibos blends that are steeped a while. It really adds nice undertones to the drink.

The loose tea smells like lavender and coconut. You can taste both of these after brewing but the smell to me was mostly sweet leaves and dusty coconut.

I just bought more of this after going many months without it. To be honest, it was a bit nostalgic. This was the tea bought during my very first loose-leaf shopping trip and I still love it as much as before. I like the cocoa and the fresh orange taste (rather than dried/bitter orange peel common to most orange flavoured teas.) I can’t taste a lot of the pu’erh but there is a bit of earthiness to the blend that I attribute to the pu’erh base. I love that this tea doesn’t overstep, and I love that this tea is very dark and flavourful.There are many tannins to be tasted but there is absolutely no bitterness to this tea at all.

I brewed three cups using the same 1.5 tsp of leaves and all three cups were extremely flavourful. It was a very pleasant surprise. I will not be letting my stash run out of this tea again soon.

This tea is seriously tasty! It is best with milk and some vanilla sugar in my opinion, but then again, I’m in love with London Fogs. I think the bergamot oil is stronger in this blend than almost all Earl greys I’ve tried. the rooibos is a great base because it never gets astringent or bitter like black teas. The rooibos actually adds some sweetness with goes well with the citrus. One of the things I noticed is that it steeps very dark, about the same colour as the tea leaves themselves. The aroma is a bit floral, hinting at rose

So I just used up the last little bit of this tea and my last cup was when I finally realized I might actually have found a way to like this tea. It was a bit acidic for me before, but for some reason I didn’t think to add honey because of the lemony/lemongrass flavour. I thought it would taste weird with sugar, however as it turns out, half a teaspoon of honey is exactly what it needed.

It steeps pale yellow with a touch or pink, however it is actually very flavourful. The mint tastes very medicinal paired with the lemongrass. The chamomile is slightly lemony and floral, and gives it that dried grass sweetness. My main issue with this tea is that the hibiscus is very tart and the other herbs don’t add enough sweetness to balance it.

A very good spearmint. Mine tastes fresh and was extremely cheap because the leaves are so light (an entire bag full was $3.10.) It re-steeps well. I enjoy this tisane with a splash of milk or a hint of honey.

A very smooth mint tea. It resteeps very well, I usually make 3-4 cups or 2 pots with the leaves. Since this tea is so light is super cheap, which is fantastic.

Forever Nuts is one of my favourite teas from David’s Teas, so I thought I should try this. I personally prefer David’s version because this tea cost me $9.50 for about 6 cups worth. It is SUPER CHUNKY and Teavana is much more expensive compared to Teavana. That being said, it can be resteeped several times. 5/10 for price and value

It steeps a pink colour due to the beetroot, which goes really nicely with the theme of the tea. I like the sweet caramel flavour because it means I don’t need to add milk or sweetener. I can taste a nutty flavour, similar to almonds and walnuts. There are also spices, most notably cinnamon. 10/10 for taste

My Greek friend gave me a sample of this and I’m just trying it now. It smells herby (but not vegetative) and a little bit spicy. I would place the flavour somewhere between orageno and catnip. The plant has a unique taste to it. Sort of faintly lemony or peppery with an after taste similar to soap. It might not be something I would drink every day, but I find the flavour unique and pleasant.

I want to start drinking this a few times per month for health reasons. It is said this herb help to prevent colds/flus, lowers blood pressure, relieves sinus congestion, and is an anti-inflammatory. I used two small dried stalks to brew one 350 ml cup, but I will be re-steeping it again shortly. It doesn’t seem to get overly strong if you leave the leaves in. I brewed mine for about 10 minutes because I forgot to check it and it was colourless so I thought it wasn’t done. It is quite forgiving that way.

For some reason I remember this tea being kinda “meh” but as I’m drinking it now, I think I was mistaken. It is a lot smoother and creamier than I thought it was. It tastes like a black tea with a strong aroma and flavour of creamy caramel. I don’t taste any bitterness in the black tea. You don’t need to add milk or sugar because of the chocolate chips. The second cup is not quite as nice because the chocolate has already melted, however it is still very tasty zero calorie dessert.

Flavors: Brown Sugar, Caramel, Chocolate, Creamy, Milk, Toffee, White Chocolate

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)
