I really like Cardamom which is why I bought this tea originally. I agree with the previous reviewers, it is a bit weak. Somehow it needs something to be more complete. I used two teabags in this latest brewing, also with soymilk and a hint of agave. I think this might be good mixed with some black tea

I think RoT does not use enuff tea per teabag, so if you’re using a bigger cup, or like your tea stronger you need two teabags. They do have some nice teas though.

Another favorite oolong of mine from the Mighty Leaf. This is a highly flavored strong floral tea with a very smooth finish.

I am seriously loving all the tea I recently purchased from the Koni Tea Company. I wish the price was not as expensive but they are definitely quality products. This is a delicious earthy pu-erh with a nice sweetness, the buttercotch really comes through. I can’t attest to it’s weight loss capabilities -if tea really made you thinner I would be a total stick by now. Even so, this is a lovely tea to have with breakfast or after dinner if you aren’t sensitive to the caffeine.

I was really looking forward to trying this tea after reading all the great reviews on Steepster – I definitely like green roobois a lot better than red! I found the plantain and coconut to be mild. I was hoping for something a little stronger as I mean to drink this primarily as a dessert tea, so I will try two bags next time. Above average but I would not buy this one again.

Meh – what is up with this tea? I’ve tried it now twice, tried to like it… I am not getting nuts or anything creamy here so I would say it’s a bit of a disappointment for a flavored tea.

drank Green Coconut by TeaGschwendner

I have to say this is a lovely tea. I am a huge fan of coconut and normally I’m a coconut pouchong tea drinker but this is a nice change of pace. I brewed it for 2 minutes and then added a generous amount of soymilk for an unusual au lait type of drink. I have had trouble at times with senchas giving me a bad stomach but so far, no signs of that here. The coconut flavor here is mild but smells absolutely incredible. Not sure I would buy it again but I’m really glad I tried it!

drank Kamiya Papaya by Teavana

I am definitely a fan of very fruity and slightly sweet flavored oolongs so this one went over very well for me. Brews up in about 2 minutes with a lovely honey color. I drank this with soy milk and it was like a cup of ice cream but it is also incredibly good on its own. Contains candied papaya and pineapple so there is some sugar in here already – no wonder I like it! :)

drank Ripe Mango Oolong by Lupicia
2816 tasting notes

I am updating my tasting note here. 1 – 1/2 minutes is plenty of time to steep this oolong, I tried it again today and it is much better with less steeping time.

I do like many flavored oolongs by Lupicia but unfortunately this is not one of them. Smells of mango but not only vaguely fruit flavored in my opinion. I would recommend giving this a short steeping time because it will turn bitter very quickly. Not really my cuppa… but perhaps it will be yours!

I’ve been drinking this tea for at least 15 years and I recently picked up a box again – it’s been so long! I really like it as an after dinner dessert tea with some soymilk. It reminds me of cinnamon toast and you certainly can’t beat the price. Unlike “chai” tea it is also gentler on my stomach.

drank Strawberry Cream by TeaGschwendner

Evidently it is my mission in life to try every strawberry tea on the planet. This has a very nice aroma and light color – I brewed it for the full two minutes on the package. Boyfriend tried it this morning and says it reminds him of Nestle Quik. I am finding the strawberry flavor very delicate and appealing
