Sipdown 6 – 2024

Finished off some teabags that I got at the Lupicia Paris store in December 2022. Lupicia does chocolate so well. The chocolate flavor is super authentic and not at all plasticky. Just a touch of vanilla to offset the bittersweet quality of the dark chocolate flavor.

Flavors: Bittersweet, Dark Chocolate, Vanilla

Sipdown 5 – 2024

Not sure if it’s because of the age, but this tastes way different than I remember. Super fruity. Lots of stone fruits. Really tasty, I drank through the remainder of the bag pretty quickly.

Flavors: Apricot, Honey, Peach, Plum

Sipdown 4 – 2024

This was one of my favorites from the advent. Such a nice creamy lemon aroma, with the mild spices melding in perfectly.

Flavors: Cinnamon, Cream, Lemon, Nutmeg, Whipped Cream

Sipdown 3 -2024

This was surprisingly good for a bagged black tea. Nice and malty with no bitterness.

Working on sipping through this. When I love a blend I typically have trouble finishing it and hoard it until it goes bad. Not a great approach. I love this blend, but I’ve had it for quite awhile and the almond slivers scare me (I really don’t want it going rancid). So, trying to enjoy it rather than wasting it.
Such a great combination of almond/amaretto and raisiny dried fruits.

Flavors: Almond, Amaretto, Cinnamon, Orange Zest, Raisins

Working on finishing this off. It’s fine but doesn’t read as particularly cranberry. More generic fruit. Blueberry is preferable over this one.

Sipdown 2 – 2024

Bought this on a trip to Maine and just finished it off. Really tasty blueberry flavor! No astringency or bitterness either.

First sipdown of 2024

Wow have I been bad at both sip downs and logging my teas. Finished off a bag of this delight, but I think I still have 1 or 2 (maybe 3?) left. Still as tasty as ever.
