My boyfriend really liked the combination of cake and milky chai, so we decided to go for the combo again. I much prefer Bird and Blend’s version (pumpkin pie or plain). There’s something about this that doesn’t sit right. There seems to be a weirdly artificial flavor overtaking everything. The balance of sweetness just isn’t right either.

Received this as a sample with a Lupicia order, which I was excited about, as I was considering purchasing it. While it’s a fine tea, it’s not particularly special. Not getting any of the mango or orange that the Lupicia website describes, but I am getting a lot of peach. Glad I got to try it, but also glad I didn’t purchase it.
I added a good amount of honey to this cup, but it’s still weirdly lacking enough sweetness to balance out the sharpness in the lavender and bergamot. I’m not loving this cup nearly as much as the previous ones, and definitely not as much as Deb’s Spiced Earl Grey Muffin.
Ordered this when Cocoa Amore was restocked. I love the Whispering Pines vanilla blends. This is definitely different than all of the other variations of the WP black tea+ vanilla. I’m not getting much of the vanilla, but that could be due to my failure to give the bag a good shake before I prepped my steeper. I’m getting roasted mushrooms, tree bark, and wet wood.

My boyfriend made me a cardamom, rose, pistachio cake for my birthday today! It’s absolutely delicious, and it went perfectly with a nice big pot of this tea. I made it over the stove in cashew milk and it was so delicious. It’s also slightly rainy and overcast today, so the milky chai perfectly fit my mood.
