I used the last of a tin to make a cold brew pitcher. This is quite old, but hasn’t degraded at all. My favorite hibiscus tea. Mouth-puckeringly tart, with a burst of jammy blackberry goodness. No hint of stevia at all (thankfully). Such a delicious cold brew.

Sounds like something I’d like… I love mouth-puckeringly tart hibiscus teas!

It definitely seems like something a hibiscus lover would enjoy!

This is delicious! There’s a touch of strawberry (it’s mainly coming off as generically sweet/fruity). This cup is dominated by strong, aromatic jasmine. I love that it’s a black base and note green, as these flavor profiles usually skew green.

The overly sweet, intensity of the flavor has settled since I last opened the bag. Definitely a good thing. I’m tasting more caramel and a bit of a nondescript floral. Will be trying this with a bit of milk next.

This cup was particularly tasty, with the marzipan flavor being much more pronounced (still wouldn’t really consider it pistachio). The mint works so well with the marzipan. Added a touch of sugar and that really seems to balance everything out.

This cup was much better than the last. No weird savory thing. Just a hint of banana, still not getting anything that would resemble cake in the flavor.

Sad to see this tea go. It’s an absolutely delicious Taiwanese black tea. So easy to drink and very forgiving with steep times.

This last cup was pretty odd. I tasted a lot of cinnamon, and a lot of coconut. Not a lot of bergamot.

My boyfriend and I made a full English (well…an abridged version of a full English), and decided to enjoy a nice big pot of this with it. We haven’t sat down and had a pot of tea together in awhile, so that was nice. I do enjoy this tea, it’s very predictable and straightforward and sometimes that’s just what I need.

I bought a new kettle to bring to the office and just got it in! Decided to brew a cup of this first thing when I got into the office, as it was surprisingly overcast and cool. Right as I as done steeping it, I was called into a meeting that lasted like 3 hours. Got back to my desk and remembered the tea, which was of course cold. Still drank it. It’s fine. It’s an assam, which aren’t necessarily my favorite. But, this one is nice and subtle with a really nice raisin note.
