Wow, this tea is pretty extraordinary. A huge thanks to Kawaii433 for sharing their stash of Whispering Pines with me. The jasmine is incredibly fragrant, and pairs perfectly with the cherry and stone fruit notes of the black tea. This is one of those teas that made my jaw drop.

Flavors: Cherry, Jasmine, Stonefruit

Wow, a solid 100!

Indeed! It’s pretty special.

Made my jaw drop, too. Alice better be making regular appearances. I might be devastated if it’s no longer around when I start buying teas again.

amandastory516

I hope it doesn’t go anywhere! It seems pretty popular, so fingers crossed a sourcing issue doesn’t interfere.

Kawaii433

You’re very welcome! I wish I liked jasmine more hehe. I should send this over to you :P

Smells like a perfect lavender lemonade. There’s no tartness from the lemon in the flavor, though. It’s a very strong Provencal lavender that overpowers everything else. Though, that’s not a bad thing for me. I can’t taste the rooibos, which is also a win. I also added a bit of foamed oat milk, and it was excellent.

Finishing this up from the advent that Inkling made for me. I really enjoyed this one, and I was particularly craving a coconut tea the other day. Very nice, authentic coconut flavor. No bitterness at all, but a very dry mouthfeel. Had sweetened and hot, but I’d imagine it would be excellent either with the addition of cream, or iced as well.

The first cup of this that I tried pre-Christmas was very pleasant. A bit of almond, and some generic red fruits. All of the subsequent cups have been perfectly fine, but definitely more boring than I remember the first cup being. Still a decent tea, just a bit blah for me.

Such a tricky tea, but so good when brewed right. 175degrees,1min 45sec seems to be the sweet spot for me. Caramel, brown sugar, and brown butter. A tiny bit of rock sugar really brings out the flavors and makes them sing.

Just finished this off, and I will definitely be repurchasing it in a larger size. Nice and nutty, perfectly balanced with the grassiness of the green. I’ve really been enjoying this one.

Another SipsBy offering for the month of January. I was surprised to see another pistachio tea from Fava in my box so soon, but I love pistachio, so can’t complain. This tea has loads of ingredients that I love (marzipan drops and almonds in particular), but there was just something off about this blend. It’s not nearly as bad as the other Fava pistachio blend that I tried, but I’m still not loving it. It’s missing that marzipan favor, and is instead reading as a bag of mixed nuts.

I received this in my SipyBy box this month and couldn’t wait to try it. I’m a bit burnt out on chaos after fall, but I love moringa. I was very pleasantly surprised by the balance of spices- cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger are balanced very well. This definitely gave me a boost of caffeine, and none of the jitters I get from coffee. I always welcome the addition of moringa, it’s one of y favorite ‘superfoods.’ It seems Miracle Tree also has some straight moringa+flavoring blends that I’m very excited to try with my SipsBy code.

I’ve really been enjoying straight teas over the past couple weeks, and just placed sample orders at Verdant and Mountain Stream. So, as I await for this new orders [that I definitely didn’t need to place], I’m trying some old samples I still have. This one is from Autumn 2018. It’s really nice and mild, very much roasted corn. I’m finding it particularly pleasing today.

Flavors: Corn Husk, Vegetal

A bit of a dry mouthfeel, that I’m not particularly fond of. Definitely cherry and chocolate at first, and I’m getting a bit of the vanilla as the cup cools. There’s something almost stevia-like in the aftertaste.

I like this one but my favorite WP is Cocoa Amore.

amandastory516

Cocoa Amore was incredible, thank you for sharing it with me. I’m definitely going to need to stock up on that one.

You are very very welcome <3. Give me a holler if you want me to send more.
