I’m really enjoying this cup! It’s sweet and nutty, and a bit vegetal from the matcha. No bitterness whatsoever. Smooth and creamy. Very satisfying.

Another inclusion in T2’s breakfast set purchased during the boxing day sale. I was excited to see kiwi on the ingredient list, unfortunately I didn’t get that flavor. It tasted sort of pear-like, which I didn’t mind, but wasn’t as exciting as a kiwi black tea.

This was included in T2’s breakfast set that I purchased as part of their Boxing Day sale. It really tastes like kaya toast. It’s rich, buttery, and coconutty. I had it at work, so I didn’t have any milk to add to it, but it seems that would have elevated it. There is a bit of an oily mouthfeel that I didn’t care for, but overall it was a pleasant cup.

I had been wanting to order from T2 for awhile, and their Boxing Day sale seemed to be the perfect opportunity, as many of the teas I had been interested in were on super sale! The box arrived a couple days ago, and it was really beautifully packaged. Opening it was like getting another Christmas present. As for this tea, it was very nice. Vanilla and caramel with a mild black base. Definitely would’ve been a bit better sweetened and with milk.

Aw man, I didn’t know there was a sale! It looks like they still have a lot of sale items in stock though!

Yes, they definitely still have lots of sale stock. I’m tempted to place another order.

The ginger is surprisingly mild, and combines nicely with the lemongrass. But, there’s something odd and almost stevia-like in the aftertaste. It’s okay, but I think I’d prefer plain ginger steeped with lemon.

Yum! I love cranberry teas, so I was very happy to see this one in the December subscription box. Such a nice combination of cranberry and lemon.

I was so, so excited to see that this was available in the Boxing Day sale from Bird and Blend. It’s a flavor that was offered before I was aware of B&B, and one that I had been desperately wanting to try. I snagged two bags, and they arrived today! I immediately brewed up a cup, and it’s just as I had hoped it would be. Perfect harmony between the jasmine and pear. The green tea is present, but not overwhelming.

Flavors: Green, Jasmine, Pear

I’m glad you finally got to try it! Their sales are so random. haha

They are super random! I appreciate that though, always something new to try.

I had asked them in a comment on the last Tea Elections if they would ever bring this one back for the Tea Elections (not expecting it to ever win or anything) JUST so I could finally order it again. When I saw it in the Boxing Day Sale (and not sold out by the time my overseas self got the e-mail) I about shit myself. Was so happy to get to order a bag. It’s one of my favs… which is saying a lot because I usually really dislike jasmine teas, but love this one!

This is either my second or third time trying this tea and I’m officially giving up. It sounds like something I would love, but no matter how I brew it, it comes out very astringent and bitter.

I love the combination of chocolate/chili/cinnamon, so was very excited to try this offering from August Uncommon. It had a nice balance of the three flavors, with none of them competing over the others.

I’ve found this tea is best with a bit of sweetener, especially honey.

Hello! I live in Los Angeles with my boyfriend and 3 cats [+however many foster cats I have at the moment]. I’m also obsessed with all things spooky.

I became obsessed with the world of tea through DavidsTea years ago. I love to try new brands, so I’m constantly on the look out for new-to-me companies.

Favorite Brands:
Whispering Pines
The Necessiteas
August Uncommon
Jolie Tea Co.

Favorite flavors:
Sweet Potato

Red Rooibos

Though, I’ll taste anything once!

I mainly brew western style.I like my tea extremely strong, so I tend to use wayyyyy more dry leaf than suggested.
