962 Tasting Notes
This was included in T2’s breakfast set that I purchased as part of their Boxing Day sale. It really tastes like kaya toast. It’s rich, buttery, and coconutty. I had it at work, so I didn’t have any milk to add to it, but it seems that would have elevated it. There is a bit of an oily mouthfeel that I didn’t care for, but overall it was a pleasant cup.
Flavors: Butter, Coconut, Toast
I had been wanting to order from T2 for awhile, and their Boxing Day sale seemed to be the perfect opportunity, as many of the teas I had been interested in were on super sale! The box arrived a couple days ago, and it was really beautifully packaged. Opening it was like getting another Christmas present. As for this tea, it was very nice. Vanilla and caramel with a mild black base. Definitely would’ve been a bit better sweetened and with milk.
I was so, so excited to see that this was available in the Boxing Day sale from Bird and Blend. It’s a flavor that was offered before I was aware of B&B, and one that I had been desperately wanting to try. I snagged two bags, and they arrived today! I immediately brewed up a cup, and it’s just as I had hoped it would be. Perfect harmony between the jasmine and pear. The green tea is present, but not overwhelming.
Flavors: Green, Jasmine, Pear
I had asked them in a comment on the last Tea Elections if they would ever bring this one back for the Tea Elections (not expecting it to ever win or anything) JUST so I could finally order it again. When I saw it in the Boxing Day Sale (and not sold out by the time my overseas self got the e-mail) I about shit myself. Was so happy to get to order a bag. It’s one of my favs… which is saying a lot because I usually really dislike jasmine teas, but love this one!
