I received this in a recent Verdant order, but it looks like it is now sold out. Charcoal and roasted notes open up into raisin and deep fruitiness. There’s a strong minerality/rock flavor that contrasts with the raisin notes nicely. Subsequent steeps reveal an intense fruitiness. A bit of lychee and mango.

I think I prefer this one unsweetened. The apricot, as well as the spice notes, hold up very well on their own, and don’t require any additives to bring out the flavor. I really enjoy this one.

I thought I had reviewed this already, but it looks like not. I just finished up my 15g packet, and I will certainly miss this one. Such an awesome balance of banana, bread notes, and maple. Most recently, I made a latte with it and it was a dessert in a mug.

I just finished off my sample size and purchased another bag. The cocoa and anise is so well-balanced, and such an interesting combination, I’ve found myself craving the flavor combo recently. August Uncommon posted a recipe for an affogatto using this tea, and I’m very interested in trying it. I’ll have to grab some vanilla ice cream next time I’m at the store.

I’ve been really gravitating toward the simplicity of vanilla black teas lately. This one does have a bit of an artificial note, but not overwhelmingly so. I enjoyed this with some oat milk and sugar.

I enjoyed this with some oat milk and honey, and a bit of extra vanilla bean powder added in. I find it to be a very easy, enjoyable drinker.

This came in the breakfast sampler I purchased on sale after Christmas. I love this type of sampler and have been really enjoying tasting through the set. This one is super nice. A bold, malty black base. Cocoa, vanilla, and a tiny bit of cinnamon. I made it sweetened with a bit of honey, and added a splash of oat milk.

Man, this is good. I upped the rating on this one, because it’s just so freaking tasty. I actually chugged the glass because it was so enjoyable. Very tempted to purchase more.
