I have been going through my cupboard in order to clean out what I don’t drink when I stumbled upon this tea again. I remember wanting to try it as a latte and finally got around to it. I think this tea is perfect in a latte form! I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk for the base and couldn’t be happier. Now I only wish I had more. :-/

I bought Chocolate Orange as a sample from David’s Tea when I went on my trip in Ontario. It was nice to be able to go into the store for once! I was able to buy a bunch of samples that I’m still getting around to. The dry smell is great, though the flavor was a bit lacking for me. I like the earthiness of the Pu-erh with the chocolate orange though! Though it’s nice, I don’t think I would buy any more after this runs out.

After a bit of a hiatus, I am back! I am surprised I did not drink a lot of tea during the summer, but that’s alright. So, on to the tea! I received Pistachio Cream as a sample. The dry smell is sweet and just like pistachios. I brewed this according to the instructions. It’s creamy, but a bit weak. It’s probably me wanting a bit more strong about now, but I will happily finish the rest of this cup.

I wanted to try this one, because it sounded interesting. I love pineapple and bacon and was curious as to how that would translate into tea. The dry scent is strong with pineapple with a hint of smoke. Unfortunately, this one does not sit well with my stomach. I’m getting a chemically pineapple flavor with some smoke. I almost get a strange bubblegum aftertaste from it. I cannot finish the cup. Others may like it better than I did. At least now my curiosity has now been satisfied. Again, thank you CK!

I have to admit that I was skeptical of this tea at first for two reasons: the dry scent was somewhat floral to me and so far I have not had much luck with many of the teas released by this company. I am happy to report that this one is really good! It tastes like buttery caramel with a mellow black base. I will definitely enjoy the rest of this sample. Thank you CK!

I was looking forward to making this tea when I received it, but finally made it on a night where studying and papers were my main objective. The dry smell is strong with berries with a hint of maple. It’s wonderful! The color of the brew looks a bit light to me and the taste is kind of light. I think I have to check my water temperature for the next cup, because I estimated this one due to crunched time.

Overall it is really good! I get a good balance of berries, maple, and oolong. I just wanted a bit more flavor out of this one, so I think I’ll watch how I brew the next cup. I’ve never had Saskatoon berries, though I am enjoying the berry flavor in this. Since I found out they grow Saskatoon berries in northern Michigan, I may have to try some when I head up there this summer! I’ll update this after I make another cup.

I wanted to try this tea after I saw it released a few months ago and finally got the opportunity to try it. Meh… I am underwhelmed. The tea itself is pleasant enough, but I do not get red velvet cake at all. I don’t really get much chocolate either. Even with the addition of cream and sweetener, it doesn’t help very much. I’m happy I got to try it out though! Thanks CK!

This tea is absolutely fabulous! It is a black/green blend and the scent is cherry, but not like cherry syrup. I made this iced and it was really refreshing! I could not detect a black base to the tea though. The flavor was almost that of a good cherry juice! I felt like I shouldn’t have been drinking it, because of the sweetness, but it’s not loaded with sugar. At least this will take care of my cravings for Traverse City cherries until I have the opportunity to go up north this summer! :-)

Now THIS is a cinnamon tea that is not too overpowering! I’ve had a stressful day and needed something comforting. I have my go-to teas, but have been wanting to try this one for a while now. I added a touch of cream and sweetener to this one to give it more of a dessert feel. It is not too earthy, spicy, or sweet. It really does remind me of fresh toasted cinnamon bread! Now that I am feeling a bit more relaxed, I am able to settle down with my text books and complete my assignments.
