This place is cute! Nice sales associate, really big selection, good prices. I can’t get over how they store their teas though.. Large, clear jars that they encourage you to open and smell.. The tea you purchase comes straight out of said jars. The chai I bought had a lot of spice and flavor but the other flavored rooibos I tried was very dull. I’m wondering if it lost some of its “oomph” because of constant air and light exposure. Oh well. I also got a really cute mug here, at a nice price. Mixed feelings, overall. I’m not sure yet if I’ll return.

In terms of larger tea shop chains, I feel like DavidsTea is the antithesis of a place like Teavana.. everything that Teavana is doing poorly, DavidsTea does really well. The Washington St. location is small, and I do wish there was slightly more walking room. However, the employees are really friendly without being pushy. Allowed me to browse at my own pace, smell what I wanted, sample what I pleased, and take my time. I will definitely return.
