151 Tasting Notes
Sometimes I really hate my life…. why? because I get a fantastic tea like this one…. try it… end up having to use my epi pen…. because there are mangos in it.. WHY!? does BERRY KIWI have to have mango in it!?!?!?!?!? .. LOL…. I really liked how sweet this one is, while also having a little bit of bite… I would have liked to have gotten a better idea of what this tasted like… but unfortunately I had to stop my throat from closing up hahaha
I don’t know if I genuinely have not tried this one, or if I just overlooked it at some point because I tried it at the same time as a bunch of other teas and it just got lost in the mix…. but WOW.. I like this.. its a nice peachy blend that’s quite floral.. I can hardly tell its a white tea.. which is nice because I am not super partial to white teas :)
I got this in a swap.. its previous owner scribbles was not such a fan of this one… I must say however, I MUCH prefer this one to David’s.. the bergamot is softer.. and the creaminess is richer.. I find the one I tried from Davids is very musky tasting, and way too much of a.. almost cigar room type of taste for my liking… I love the softness of this one :)
To be fair, raspberry mint mojito from teaopia was my favorite tea. This one is close to it, but for me, is missing the mint… so it leaves me wanting more. I do like this though, it realistically tastes like raspberry lemonade which is nice, and the mate gave me a nice kick for the afternoon.. not a bad blend. I made this iced, and like raspberry mint mojito, I think that iced would be the better blend. I like the mint mojito hot, but I feel like this one would be way too tart.
I got this one in a fantastic tea swap!!! I made this one cold brewed… I like it! it tastes like drinking a cup of skittles, with a nice aftertaste of amaretto! … delicious!I don’t really get the grape flavour.. but I definitely taste a mixture of berries. It’s super nice!
This is actually one of my favorites. So I can’t understand why I haven’t written about it yet. I normally avoid oolong’s like the plague. I don’t hate them, but they just aren’t normally for me. I smelled this one in the store and immediately bought a tin of it. I’ve refilled that tin twice. I am sad they are not keeping it. It’s creamy and nutty enough to balance out the floral taste of the oolong. This was the first oolong to make me brave enough to try other oolongs.. I must say.. I was sad to see it didn’t make the cut to be a permanent tea :(
