151 Tasting Notes
This one tastes more like a cup of juice than a cup of tea. I got it iced, and it was really nice! I didn’t find it too tart, but the girl steeped it for a minute less than what it is supposed to be. I found the vanilla really complemented it and served to accent the flavours rather than overpower them.
Preparation
I am torn with this one. I wanted to like it. I really did… but something about the mint tasted very artificial to me. I did find though that the two flavours went well together.. so I am not ruling this blend out completely.. Probably just something I’m not going to include in my cupboard.
Preparation
This tea isn’t bad at all…. its a bit sweeter than your typical cold/flu/wellness tea, but still a little medicinal. I like it today though, its comforting on a day where its pouring like crazy! the clove and the cardamom comes through quite strong which is nice.. I think the juniper berry is what sweetens it a little. All in all, a very nice tea :)
Preparation
ummm AMAZING. I am thrilled with this tea… definitely my replacement for when I run out of davids perfect pear… dare I say? I like this one better :) … when you smell it, the pear is not prominent… it made me skeptical about the tea… but once it brews… holy cow… it comes out nice and strong! with nice sweet fruity after notes…. delicious! :)
NOPE! In theory, this tea should be the perfect dessert blend!.. but I am not feeling it. It’s a little weak. To be fair, I am not a huge fan of david’s salted caramel either.. so I should have expected this…. when you steep it up, it leaves the greasiest looking film on top… not that good… although, I do like the aftertaste of this much more than the aftertaste of salted caramel.
I got this tea in a swap from jessiwrites … it is a lot like tropicalia, but quite a bit more tart… i’m not sure I like that.. I think for me there is something about pineapple teas that doesn’t sit right.. I love pineapple, I just haven’t stumbled upon the right pineapple tea for me yet.
Preparation
woaaaaaaah I LOVE this tea… I got this in a swap from scribbles… I believe I have tried one tea from tealish, back when I still lived at home.. and I loved it.. but I haven’t fallen for a tea this hard, in a very long time. It starts out with a punch of orange, and then levels out with an amaraettoish/marzipan taste, that lingers slightly… I find that neither flavour overpower each other…. I tried this hot and can’t wait to try it iced :)
Preparation
mmm, I just got this little sample in the mail… thanks jessiwrites I was looking for something light, but desserty after supper…. this was perfect! it has a nice whipped cream taste, with undertones of a good earl grey…. delicious! not a bad first tea from adagio teas! :)
