I enjoyed this mostly as an iced tea. It was refreshing, though the fruity flavor doesn’t really resemble grapefruit to me.

drank White Tropics by Adagio Teas

I really enjoyed this at first. I ordered it thinking it would be fruity and perfect for icing. While I am sure it would be fine iced, the coconut that is the main flavor (for me at least) tastes better warm. But as I worked through the couple ounces I had, it started to smell less like tropics and more like hot feet. Do not like.

It is a lovely, mild fruity tea, though I can’t pinpoint blueberry specifically. Definitely best iced!

drank White Symphony by Adagio Teas

This is light and floral, and makes a great cup both hot and iced! I could steep it multiple times, which helps defray cost, which always makes me happy. I would recommend this white to others as the best traditional white that Adagio offers.

drank White Peach by Adagio Teas

This was refreshing and light, ideal for icing! I used a bit of sweetener, but it is fruity enough that if I used it hot I would omit it.

drank White Pear by Adagio Teas

It is very tasty, but not very pear-y! I would expect a slight bit of natural sweetness, but it isn’t there. It doesn’t make it awful, just not what I originally thought (and what I think it should be).

This is a very earthy tasting tea that is best prepared by longer than average steeping than is typical for white tea. Even still, it is not my favorite.

drank Silver Needle by Adagio Teas

Very enjoyable warm, though it is best when using the full 2tsp of tea per cup. It is no waste, because I was able to brew the same leaves 4 times! It is very mild tasting, but not special in my opinion.

I was kind of indifferent to this one. It has a pleasant flavor, but nothing that really struck me as amazing.

This was surprisingly mild, and sort of nutty and deep in flavor. It lasted several steeps, which I always love, and is a solid purchase, though nothing super special.

Now a certified teacher, beginning my first year in third grade this fall. I have been involved in the tea world about 5 years now. In that time, I have learned so much, and am hoping to learn even more by joining the steepster community.

In my non-tea times, I am usually watching netflix while writing lesson plans, cuddling my two kitties, or trying to find new things to do in a town that is sometimes a bit limited!
