Steepster ate my note…first time for me ! I am shocked lol, naughty steepster !

Thank you so much Sil for sending me this tea as a surprise.
This is really a very kind attention and a very good tea.
I am very fond of Taiwanese teas and especially those from the Sun Moon Lake.LaFleurBleue sent me one in the past and I really felt in love with it.
I tried to find one at Mariage Frères but it’s very expensive (30 € for 100 g) so I forgot about it.
And yesterday night this lovely envelope was waiting for me in my mailbox!

This is a very lovely assam, deep, dark but fruity as well.I get candied apricot for sure and fresh bread notes.

I love it ! for sure I’ll have a look at this company. Thank you so much Sil

YAY! I’m glad you like it. If you only buy sample sizes, shipping is free over 25$ – it’s how i placed my first order with them to try a bunch of their blacks!

Ah! Yes, Steepster can be naughty, it happened to me also after writing a long post, so frustrating! I don’t type directlyl in the little box anymore, I open a new document and copy/paste after so I don’t have to start over if there’s a glitch…

I enjoyed this one, although lot #154 was my favorite of the two. I opened the tin the other day, & the aroma alone is just so delicious!

First, please forgive me for my English and all the grammatical mistakes you’ll find in my posts.
As English isn’t my mother tongue it sometimes makes things more difficult to express cleverly and accurately what I feel.

I was mainly in black flavoured teas, green as well if not bitter.
I’m now drinking much straight teas because my palate is now developed enough to appreciate them .

My favourite brands are : Taiwan tea Crafts, Teavivre, Mariage Frères,Theodor,Butiki Teas,Dammann Frères, Betjeman & Barton.
My ratings are as follow :

100 to 95 : my darlings; always in my cupboard (or very often ! )

94 to 90 : Excellent tea

89 to 80 : very good tea, a pleasure to drink it

79 to 70: not bad even quite nice, why not having it sometimes, but well,it’s not so urgent !

69 to 50 : Meh, deceptive or just not for me – but has some qualities

49 to 30 : I just don’t appreciate it

Under 30 : is this thing supposed to be tea ?!?!?
