I love that it’s organic and made by a great company, but it was way too bitter and strong for my taste, to the point where drinking the tea felt chalky from how strong and intense it was.

A great tea to drink when you want a caffeine kick without having to drink coffee. Decent flavor — moderately intense tangerine notes. I prefer Yogi’s raspberry energy tea over this one, but it’s still a good caffeinated tea.

I’ll start off by saying that I do not generally enjoy floral teas, so in terms of the flavor, this Skin Detox Tea would not be my first choice. As mentioned, the taste is very floral — particularly “rose”-like. If you enjoy rose flavor, you’ll probably enjoy the taste of this tea.

Having said that, it’s definitely not disgusting, even for someone like me who doesn’t like floral flavors very much. I do feel like it’s helping with my skin, so that’s a huge plus!

I also like that it has a little bit of caffeine, so it’s a good choice when I’m looking for a little energy boost without reaching coffee-levels of caffeine.

Very, very bitter, even for a black tea. Also makes me way too jittery to drink regularly, even though I can handle many other black teas.

drank Candy Cane Green Tea by Trader Joe's

An excellent, soothing winter time tea. It really does taste like a candy cane in tea format – very little green tea taste present. I even know people who typically hate tea that enjoy this one.

I always stock up on this when the winter season rolls around at Trader Joe’s, since it’s not sold during the rest of the year. Great tea for a calm December evening or a rainy day!

This tea is a great alternative to coffee, for those who want to add some energy to their day without the side effects of coffee. It definitely makes me way less jittery than coffee, despite having a pretty high caffeine count (about 80% of the amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee). Helps me concentrate without inducing too much anxiety or stomach aches.

As for the taste, I really enjoy it. It has the sweet/sour raspberry flavor, without being too overwhelming — I’m not always a big fan of fruit-flavored teas, as they can be too intensely sweet, but this is a nice balance.

Very bitter and harsh yet dull-tasting at the same time. I drink a lot of different green teas, but this is one that I would never buy or choose to drink again.

This is my favorite tea ever. It has a very warm/soothing flavor, without being too strong or bitter like many other turmeric ginger teas (even more surprising since it also has green tea in it). Great ingredients and unbleached tea bags as well.
