Sometimes I get lazy, so I just steep a few tea bags in a pot.

Pure Black by Cha Teas is a great black tea, without any other aromas or tastes, just pure black goodness. Sometimes I can feel a slight hint of bergamot, but it’s a very tiny nice note in the overall base flavor. The tea has a very strong and bright taste, even a little rough and roasty.

I like this one for long periods of work when I don’t want to be distracted by any complex flavors or tastes but still want to drink tea. Also it is great to use as a base for different mixes and herbal/fruit additions. I personally like to throw some dehydrated blueberries into the pot to give a sweet aftertaste/

I’ve never been a fan of green teas, but this one got my attention. I think it’s never too late to give a tea a second chance.

Well, basically it’s a good green tea with some strong green base flavor. A little bit too grassy and herbal for me, though. I’m not a fan of grassy teas at all, so it wasn’t a pleasant surprise for me. But still, I managed to enjoy this one a lot, but I won’t be drinking this one soon, still need some time to get used to grassy things.

Pretty decent Jasmine tea, but for me it smells and tastes a little bit too grassy.

One nice tip I can give is putting some sugar, maybe like 1-1.5 tsp. It evens out the grassy taste and makes everything else much better. But then it doesn’t feel god on it’s own, so you should have a cookie or something else you like.

I know, this sounds like heresy, but it’s the way it works for me. And I like doing this from time to time ;)

An amazing and unique tea. At least from those that I’ve tried.

First, the smell. A very mellow fruity smell with a few stronger notes.

The taste differs even from sip to sip. It has a berry-like sweet side, which is relaxing and calm. But sometimes you can feel something a bit more sour, which adds some hints of citrus.

Overall, a great tea for calm evenings or to drink while reading a book. And the smell is so wonderful that I often smell it too much and the tea becomes cold :)

A tip : it is very easy to oversteep it, so keep the steeping time below 3 minutes, otherwise it may become bitter.
