237 Tasting Notes
I made a super concentrate from this and poured it over vanilla almond milk and ice cubes, added a bit of raw sugar, and the end result is something that tastes like a very strong white russian. Interesting. Not at all what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised :)
I enjoyed this tea so much! I love pumpkin anything, and I’m very forgiving of it when it is not up to par, but I didn’t have to forgive anything with this chai! With a bit of brown sugar, this is so similar to pumpkin pie, it’s almost impressive. This is the first time I can truly say the crust element is very obvious and does not need to be interpreted. Success.
So we meet again Caramel Vanilla Assam. I found this in the Tea and Cards TTB, and my first thought was “You! You’re coming with me! We’re going to figure this out once and for all!” Last time I had this, it was a sample and I was very disappointed, but it has such great reviews…I knew it was me.
Even in the aroma, I can tell it will be different this time. There is lovely caramel notes floating around and I’m already super pumped. Taste wise, the caramel is much more prominent than the vanilla and I LOVE that I can fully taste the base. This is a success! Nooow I get iiiiiitttt haha :) Very very yummy!
I’m almost out of Golden Orchid. And that’s just very upsetting. This is my daily “cheer myself up when I miss my baby too much” tea. I feel like I’m having something I shouldn’t have when I drink this. It’s so rich and lovely. I’m going to miss you when you’re gone but we’ll be so happy when we are reunited my little tea!
This one has also REALLY grown on me. I can’t get enough of the nuttiness combined with the green tea base. Soooooooooo ggoooooooddddddddd.
1.5 tsp in 8 oz of 180 degree water, with a bit of rock sugar and milk :)
It’s really not the same without sugar or milk
Thanks! I will have to try it with milk and sugar. The first time I made this it tasted soooo bland I figured I must be doing something wrong.
