Honeycomb is a very complex bing, and is the best 100g bing that i’ve yet to come across. This Bing Dao was beautifully crafted, and the evidence was the wide array of tasting notes that this bing brushed against. This tea, composed of ancient tree leafs, is one that I wouldn’t recommend for beginners. I mainly say this because Honeycomb needs to be heavily focused to be completely. Due to the hight level of delicateness, it would be easy to overlook some of the greater aspects of it’s body and background notes.

I tried Brown Sugar multiple times and each time, it’s carries too much of a punch. This tea is smooth, but I think it still has a while to go. There’s light notes of sweetness that I think will continue to come out over time.

I did like the quality of leaves this tea had tho.

I got this tea in the monthly tea club.

My session with this tea was pretty great. I think it still needs more time to settle down from pressing, but overall it was pretty good. It reminded me of a baked fruit/malty spice that was light and sweet. It also had a very think soup that made ‘Fade’ very savory. I didn’t get any bitterness whatsoever, and I think that aging this tea for a few months will improve it a lot.

There was a mushroom taste, but I suspect it’ll go away over the next few months.

I got a sample of this and ended up having 3 sessions with it before running out :(

I’ve never tasted Misty Peak before so I was incredibly curious as to what it tasted like. I mean, just look at it! It’s in the shape of two mountains! What a beautiful presentation.

The very first thing I noticed was the taste of cream this tea had. It had a faint buttery taste that was mouthwatering. As I continued my session with it floral notes opened up and made their-self present. It was a nice melody and a very soft and calming mixture. It had a very refreshing taste that lated through out my session with it.

Overall, I’d buy more of this tea. I would have to save up quite a bit for it, but it would be worth it. I can’t wait to keep exploring with Misty Peaks!

I aired out this cake and gave it a chance to regain its moister. Overall it was very green tasting with a bitter undertone. I wasn’t a particular fan of this and the flavors weren’t very complex.

Also, it was very compressed and took some work to get enough leaf to do a session. I ended up wasting a lot of tea dust unfortunately.

I’ve been eying this oolong for the past 6 months. I finally decided to jump on 25g of this tea and gave it a go.

When I first opened the package I first noticed a caramel scent that made itself very present. Upon tasting this tea the soft gentleness of caramel with a light nutty background made itself faintly known. My session with this tea lasted around an hour and a half and got a dozen steeps out of it.

Overall it was very yummy and had avery nice softness to it. I’m not too familiar with Wu Yi oolongs to judge if this was good for its region, but it was incredibly tasty and worth the order. I’ll probably end up ordering more before its all said and done.

Holy moly.

To date, this is the best Oolong I’ve ever had. And that’s coming from someone whose named after the drink.

Due to the high cost of this tea I only performed one session with it. It’s floral/melon/butter taste stayed consistent through out my session. It lasted for a little over a dozen steeps and stayed incredibly smooth through out. It was light, but at the same time so full of flavor.

I would highly reccomend this tea for anyone. It sweet delecateness was mind blowing. This is something I’ll order more of…

I’ve lately built an obsession with Poundcake and i’ve already had 8-10 sessions with it. It’s incredibly creamy and smooth, and reminds me of a good milk oolong. This tea os definitely worth the money and is something that i’m going t continue to enjoy in the future.

I’ve always been a fan of What-Cha and the description of the tea on What-Cha’s website made it sound really yummy. The description said ‘butter’, but when I received the tea ‘nutty’ was on the package.

Anyways, I brewed this tea in my vessel gong-fu style and I first noticed a nutty-creamy taste. It had a cocoa powder after taste that indicated a medium roast. As I brewed this tea it became more pungent and kept packing on a more powerful punch. In it’s medium steeps it started go quickly from smooth to bitter and rough. In its later steeps the nutty flavors started to get more sharp and pungent.

Overall, this wasn’t one of my favorite oolongs. I feel like other people might enjoy it for the fact it carries such a strong punch. I believe this would be a good oolong to introduce a coffee drinker who is ready to make the transition into tea.
