I had a cup of this back in December after I first received my order and remember not really getting much out of it. I didn’t quite understand what all the hype was about. I have learned that before I decide that I dislike a tea, or that write off a tea I need to try it at least twice. This morning I embarked on this tea again. This turned out to be one of many teas where my first impression was way off.
This morning this tea was perfect. It is a subtle oolong with a lingering sweet taste. The first part of the sip is filled with the hints of oolong. The hints are not a roasty toasty, or green oolong. but more of a, I am not a black tea, sorta flavor. The last part of the sip the honey/sweet notes that round out the sip.
