5 Tasting Notes

I got this as a sample, it isn’t bad but I don’t love it so I don’t think I’ll purchase it. When I smelled it at first I got strong whiffs of dandelion and then it became this almost lemon candy like scent. It tasted like lemon candy too after brewing it and had an addition of mint too, unfortunately together this tasted like toothpaste. It was a nice refreshing tea because of the mint and lemon flavors but I couldn’t get past the taste of toothpaste that overwhelmed any other flavors it had.

So good! I absolutely love this tea, I got it thinking that it would be good for it’s health benefits but like other teas that are healthy I wasn’t expecting a great taste. I’m blown away, the cinnamon and floral notes actually worked together, this alongside the little bit of sweetness it has makes it taste like an oatmeal cookie! I didn’t even realize there was rooibos in this tea, I don’t typically like rooibos because of it’s bitterness but this tea actually had no bitterness to it. Also this tea makes me feel so calm, I drink it before bed and it helps me sleep. Overall this tea really delivered and I would definitely re-stock it when it’s run out!

Got this tea last summer, I really like fruity teas and this was a delicious addition to my collection! The tea tastes very strongly of both strawberry and pineapple, but I didn’t taste much of the coconut. A lot of the teas I get from Davids that have a coconut component to it don’t taste like there is any in them, the coconut to me always feels overshadowed by the other ingredients. With that being said, I would have liked a little more coconut in this tea. Although I still really enjoyed it, especially iced, I even tried it hot and it was really nice. Definitely one to try, especially if you like fruity teas.
