This one is really nutty and sweet. However I find I don’t enjoy it as much without sweetener, so it falls a little short for me since I am looking for an amazing evening tea that I can drink straight.

Another tea that I discovered via the just the leaf promotion that is happening right now. I will probably never buy this one as it is so expensive. Maybe a little bit. Oolongs are economical because you get so many steeps out of them, but at the same time they are so expensive. I have a love/hate relationship with oolong. Saying that, I loved both the oolongs in the advent calendar last year. Note to self, get more oolong.

I really love this tea. It is naturally sweet, smooth, and delicious. If you get a chance before Thursday get yourself a cup for $1, they will give you the leaves and you can take them home for more brewing pleasure. Not bitter at all.

Today’s tea of the day at my local Davids was Rooibos de Provence. And in sampling that tea, I was like this is Jessie’s tea, but not as good!

So here we are, Sunday night, Once Upon a Time is on TV, and I am obviously going to dip into my Jessie’s Tea bag for my after dinner cup. I love the coconut and lavender together, it has just the right blend of sweetness and I want to say mintyness to be delicious.

drank White Peony by DAVIDsTEA

Picked up a small sample of this yesterday when I was in getting a 1$ cup of oolong.

First steep is very smooth and bright. It’s a very clean, simple white tea. I had it with a bit of honey and I think that worked well. Will try resteeping soon.

Last one of the fall collection that I bought a small sample of. This one is probably my least favorite, I’m just not a huge fan of floral teas. However, I like it more than I thought I would after I added a touch of honey.
Taste is sweet, floral, with a hint of nuttiness. I don’t get a lot of apple, which is too bad, if anyone can suggest a better apple tea I’d appreciate it. I haven’t found one that compares to an apple tea I have from the UK with apple and mint.

Had this one tonight while in picking up the last of the fall collection. I have been taking advantage of the just the leaf for $1 deal.

It was smooth and delicious, but I found after a while with the bag in the to go cup it got bitter. I should have taken it out sooner. I also should have taken the bag home so I could double steep it. I guess I was too busy ogling my husband tonight on our date to think straight. Anyways I would recommend this as a really nice, clean white tea, and if the price wasn’t so high I would probably buy more.

This is my favorite tea of all time. It has helped me through many early mornings lifeguarding at 6 am, and doesn’t require anything to taste amazing.

It tastes like delicious, earthly, chocolate raspberries. It is not overpowering, the Mate still comes through in the flavour. The dry leaves smell a lot sweeter than this actually is. I tend to over steep it because I’m usually running around getting ready, and I find the stronger I make it the better. It has this amazing flavour that I cannot get enough of. This tea got me hooked on Mates.

drank Forever Nuts by DAVIDsTEA

This is my go to tea for people who say they don’t like tea. It is sweet and delicious just on its own, with a hint of nuttiness. I love the pink colour.

I always come back to this tea when I’m looking for a delicious herbal blend. I’ve never tried it iced, but will in the future, as it is the perfect tea to have after dinner as a dessert.

I did not think I would like this tea. Out of the three in the Gentlemen’s collection, it was the one I wanted to try the least.

Then my husband and I went to David’s to grab a latte each. He is a hard core earl grey drinker (or was until he tried this) and I was trying to widen his tea pallet. I got a Honeybee Latte, he got one of these. And he ‘won’ the tea choice that day. This tea is fabulous, and I don’t know why I didn’t think I would love it considering Forever Nuts is one of my favorite herbal blends.

It is perfect as a latte. Earthy with a rich nutty flavour, it tastes like a fine straight black blend but better. We like our tea strong so I steep it for longer than on the package, and then add a bit of sweetener and frothed milk. I seem to be really into teas that I can make amazing Lattes out of lately, and this one fits the boat for something that doesn’t come out super sweet. It’s nutty and delicious, what more is there to say?

I finally gave in and bought 25 grams of this tea to try. Decided to make a cup shortly after, and WOW is this ever the perfect evening/before bed tea. The smell is amazing, but I have been missing mint in my regular tea routine for some time now so I am bias.

This tastes like a traditional herbal tea, but better. It’s minty and sweet, and really does calm you down. I didn’t add any sweetener to it and it still tasted amazing. Others are right, you cannot resteep this one, but that is true of most of David’s herbal blends.

I had 3 cups last night and have a feeling this will become part of my evening routine this winter. If you are looking for something soothing to have before bed this tea does the trick.
