771 Tasting Notes
I’m not going to rank this tea quite yet since I’m not sure I gave it a fair shake. I have another serving so I will try again. I was eating an intense chocolate cake while trying to drink this last night and it didn’t go well. Made the tea taste off and very lackluster. On it’s own it might be better but it doesn’t do well against flavourful food.
Preparation
This was a gift from my cousin-in-law, who I am trading teas with. I’m not sure why she picked Boh. Maybe because it’s sold on Amazon? Unlike the other reviewer of this tea, I got an intensely lime experience with not much ginger at all. I was intrigued by the suggestion to steep in ginger ale, but I actually don’t like ginger that much to ever keep ginger ale in my house. This was tasty enough and I will probably drink the rest of it, or maybe give it to my mom who I’m visiting next week.
Flavors: Lime
Preparation
The wife of one of my cousins has me in something of a tea war where we send each other interesting tea every month or so and she sent me a canister of this. It’s interesting, but I agree with the poster who called it the Liptons of Malaysia. It is a nice very bland basic black tea with nothing really special about it. It’s tasty but it’s not interesting. Nothing stands out about it.
Preparation
Quite a lovely tea here, considering I bought it off of amazon. Definitely shades of Earl Grey but with a lovely complex aftertaste. I used the bagged variety, 3 teabags in my repurposed beer stein/tea mug with milk and sugar. The sugar really helps bring out all the flavours, although I know it’s not for everyone.
Been a while, hope to see some old friends on here. I’m drinking a lot of tea these days so I’ll try to be as active as I can. I’m glad this site is reviving though, I missed it.
Preparation
Purchased some of this and made my first cup! It is definitely not a 3 minute tea though, probably closer to 5 minutes for my desired strength of flavour. This cup was a 3 minute cup and not quite as strong as I remember it being, but still tasty. I will enjoy the canister I got of it, I think.
Hello,
I’m a Kingdom of loathing player in the process of collecting some old items and was hoping to reach out to you to possibly purchase (papal or something) and item (silk garter snake) on you display case.
I saw the link to this site there and that you haven’t played in a few years. I apologize for not sending a PM here but the site wouldn’t allow me.
If you are interested please send a message to “Squiddyfish” on Kol.
Thanks for your time.

This tea is much much better when steeped just 4 minutes and not…..however long it was last time. I think I’ll even try 3 next time. The black tea still tastes very ‘dark’ to me here. Not really finding any other words than that. Not quite bitter but i did add some additional sweetener and milk as the package recommended. Quite tasty and I’ve been sharing with a friend at work. This is good but I’ll probably not buy it again.
Preparation
Had some of this last night during my stitch and bitch with a couple of friends. Not much stitching got done but the bitching was very productive. I can probably get a second steep tonight before bed assuming the leaves aren’t molding already. This is still delicious.
Been a while since I had this but I random number generated (kinda, I asked a friend for a number) and this came up so I made some. Still tasty even though it’s quite old at this point. I don’t like a lot of rooibos teas but this one just hits the spot.
Preparation
I assume this is the same creme brulee black tea that can be purchased at said Queen Mary Tea House in Seattle because that’s where I got it. My mother got some when we had afternoon tea (I had the Almond tea which is also great) and I tried some of hers and had to buy some.
This particular cup is not as great as I remember, mostly probably because I oversteeped it by I don’t even know how long because I was brushing one of the cats and it is shedding season so that took longer than expected so it’s more burnt than caramel this cup but I have an entire canister and I intend to enjoy the crap out of it.
