10785 Tasting Notes
glad to get a taste of this one since everything about it is something that would make me buy it myself. this was alright. i think the base tea isn’t something i like because there was an element underlying the flavours that seemed out of place. It was a nice cup to have – caramel black tea..yes please, but that odd note made it not be exactly what i’d want.
is this the one that was only available in the US? ‘cause if so…why would that not surprise me? Thanks roswell/variaTEA for sharing this with me. I am a fan. maybe it’s because we’ve been living the sweet potato loaf/pumpkin pancakes/pumpkin muffins over here for the last little bit, but that was a really good cup. And i don’t say that much about DT blends. Just the right balance of spices and tea. yum.
I am a fan of this one. Davids tea needs to make their version more like this one and i might actually buy some haha. Wish i’d picked some of this one up now because it’s a really nice pineapple tea. I think the base tea really does it for me when balanced with the pineapple. Nice job anne! thanks for letting me try this variaTEA!
this one fell somewhere in the middle of malty with a little bit of astringency. basically neither roswell strange nor variaTEA’s experience – just midpoint. I enjoyed it as a result. I am never a huge fab of tea bags…hate the environmental impact even when they’re biodegradable . But this was a nice change from the 3 teas i’ve had to drink haha
ok so i could go for more of this. I’m counting on variaTEA to remind me next christmas lol I really enjoyed the orange chocolate of this one. I didn’t think to do a taste comparison between this version and the 52 tea version but i think this one is a tiny bit tastier because it’s truffle vs cannoli. BUT they’re both super delicious imo!
