drank Biarritz by August Uncommon Tea

This was a tea from August Uncommon that i wasn’t certain about. I don’t mind anise, but i don’t LOVE it – it always depends on how it’s used. Everything else about this tea was something i thought i’d like. Once brewed, this IS a delicious tea, though i’d probably subtract the anise. It’s not overpowering and doesn’t have that sickeningly sweet taste to the brew, but it’s there enough that it takes away a little from the amaretto and orange. I do like the rooibos used in this blend – it’s not that harsh woody rooibos that i really don’t like. overall, another good blend from AU, though i’d love it more sans anise. :)

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling as well!

Most of that is on hold these days though, including tea drinking like I used to as I have a new little one who eats up all my spare time.
