15049 Tasting Notes
SIPDOWN! (226) Thanks again to cavo for letting me try this. After a few cups of this i’ve come to the conclusion that while i enjoy it, it’s not something that is out of this world enough to need to keep in my cupboard. I like the lemon addition to the chai but i prefer other chais that i have…though now i might try adding lemon to them :) However, still a pretty darn tasty tea!
Backlog from yesterday. Apparently i was a little tired – came home early and pretty much slept until this morning. It’s sipdown saturday/sunday but i won’t have much time to focus on tea drinking. Release weekend!
I’m aiming to get to 215 this weekend, though i’m not sure how mangeable that is given that i’m currently sitting at 227. But i sure as heck can try! :)
I pulled this one out yesterday because i haven’t had it in a while. It’s still a delicious creamy cakelike tea that is for sure a good one to have for those days you just want liquid deliciousness lol
I really enjoyed this one. If I ever actually place an order from Della Terra, I’d have to get a small amount of this for occasional indulgence.
this one plus at least one of their rooibos cream tea are about the only teas i’d like to keep around in my cupboard. I think i’m leaning towards the lime chiffon and the orange & cream as staples. heh
had this in the morning. I have a bunch of tea to try and drink tomorrow morning/afternoon before i have to head out to the middle of nowhere to hang out from 6pm-6am. ugh. This is one of those teas that only had a couple cups left so i opted for one this morning and likely tomorrow. I can feel the call of tea ordering…taunting me. Really need to hold off for a bit longer but there’s a part of me that just wants to order naaaaoo!
i still really enjoy this tea. it’s got a nice richness to it, though it’s not quite as strong and bold as i want it to be. still, i’d never turn down a cup!

I almost drank this one this morning, & again just now. I opted for the Premium taiwanese assam upgrade instead.
I’ve been battling with myself about my desire to order more teas all week (face it, everyday all year is more like it…for years). I just paid bills & gotta come up with another $650 before I’m done paying bills, so no tea buying until then for me. “All of my needs & desires are abundantly fullfilled.”

look out world…. i am fully loaded with tea tonight. No idea how i’m not a puddle of melted liquid something. I can feel the water sloshing around in me and it’s soooo good! I had my other half try this tonight and of course it’s a tea that “i would drink this….this would make a great winter tea” why? because this is one of those discontinued teas from david’s tea. So unless it makes a come back…scratch that attempts at getting him to drink more tea lol
oh well….just means there’s hope :)
Haha. At least he’s trying them and actually liking them. Mine has only liked the 52 Teas Cherry Vanilla Cola iced. And that was only a sip. I still have to make him his own cup. #babysteps
I hope you don’t have to go to far to get to the bathroom – with all that tea, you’re guaranteed to get up at least once!
I was sloshing last night, we drank a crazy amount of tea here.

i figured i would have a cup of this tonight since it’s not really tea. Not to mention that my allergies are acting up AND the last thing i want is to get sick next week before vacation. Terri sent this my way and i haven’t had a chance to try it yet. On the whole this isn’t a bad cup of…drink? haha it’s got a sweet taste to it but with a bit of zing that makes me smile. If there is any truth to the medicinal properties, i could drink this all the time! :)
A bit of St. Germaine, elder flower liqueur, might add a little more smile and make you forget about your allergies :)
That stuff is really good in floral and berry teas!
Huh. Ill have to try that since funnily enough there IS a bottle of that in my house!
Elderberry may not do alot for allergies, I’ll have to send you some Nettles for that. BUT Elderberry is an awesome remedy for colds & flu, it really does work!
It does! I like the taste of the thick elderberry syrup that I get at Whole Foods.
I brew it fairly strong, at least 1 Tb to my mug, sometimes stronger, for 5 min or so. Sometimes I sweeten it, usually I don’t.
SIPDOWN! (227!) where did those teas come from you might ask? Well my order that terri and i split arrived the other day but i was waiting until i had time to sort them out before adding them to my cupboard. I figured since i basically sipped down the equivalent that i was adding to my cupboard today, i could add them all in. So back up to 227 BUT that’s still down from the other night so ha!
This one has grown on me a little. I kind of like the weird berry flavour that’s going on here :) Thanks Cavocorax for this one! yay!
Canadianadia had this not long ago… Sometimes good memory is not a good thing. It just feels like everyone is drinking the same thing. Makes me think of inbreeding. So not what it is but my mind just goes there. That’s probably inappropriate.

hmmm figured i really should try and start some of the other samples that Cavo sent me so i pulled this one out as well. I think the jury’s still out on this one largely because i um might have accidentally steeped it for like 7 mins. Proooooobably not a good thing for the tea lol it’s a little on the bitter side…so i’ll chalk that one up to me. :)
I never did get around to writing a review for this one. it was one of the matchas my pregnant friend passed off to me. I’m not a fan of white chocolate so it would never be anything i’d have ordered on my own. Finished it up today so yay for that. I typically use this as additions to a stronger flavour in my smoothies. Overall? I like the belgian chocolate more but this one isn’t that bad. Just not really my thing in general so no rating.
